NEW MONTH PRAYER FOR JUNE 2026

Heavenly Father,

As we enter this new month of June, we thank You for the gift of life, for Your constant protection, and for the countless blessings You have poured upon us and our families.

Lord Jesus Christ, in this month dedicated to Your Most Sacred Heart, draw us closer to You. Teach us to love as You love, forgive as You forgive, and trust as You trusted the Father. May Your Sacred Heart become our refuge in times of uncertainty, our strength in moments of weakness, and our source of peace amid the challenges of daily life.

As we prepare to celebrate Corpus Christi and deepen our devotion to the Holy Eucharist, increase our faith in Your Real Presence. Help us never to take the Mass, Holy Communion, or Eucharistic Adoration for granted. May every encounter with You in the Blessed Sacrament transform our hearts and renew our souls.

Lord, bless Your Church throughout the world. Strengthen the Holy Father, our bishops, priests, deacons, religious, and all who serve Your people. On this month in which we honor Jesus Christ, the Eternal High Priest, raise up holy vocations and fill Your ministers with wisdom, courage, humility, and fidelity.

Through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Saint John the Baptist, Saints Peter and Paul, and all the saints we celebrate this month, guide us on the path of holiness. May their witness inspire us to remain faithful to the Gospel and steadfast in our Catholic faith.

Protect our families from every evil. Grant healing to the sick, comfort to the suffering, hope to the discouraged, and eternal rest to the faithful departed.

Bless the work of our hands. Open doors that are according to Your holy will. Give us wisdom in our decisions, patience in our trials, and gratitude in our blessings.

May June be for us a month of spiritual growth, deeper prayer, renewed faith, and greater love for You.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our lives, our families, our work, our plans, and our future into Your loving care.

We trust in You.
We hope in You.
We belong to You.

Amen.

Be Prayerful. Be Inspired

πŸ™βœοΈπŸ’œ The 9 day Novena prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will begin on Wednesday, June 3rd. We can pray this Novena anytime throughout the year.

The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is a major feast in the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar. It celebrates the physical heart of Jesus Christ as a representation of his boundless, divine love and mercy for humanity. When is it celebrated? The date is moveable, occurring 19 days after Pentecost and always on the Friday immediately following the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. This year we will celebrate this feast on Friday, June 12th.

πŸ™βœοΈπŸ’œ We will celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity on Sunday, May 31, at 11 am. Come and join us in worship and praise.

Our Gospel reading in the bible is John 3:16-18.

"God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."

How beautiful are these verses...God's unconditional love, eternal life! Yeesss, our hope is in heaven.

Our second reading is found in 2 Corinthians 13:11-13. Saint Paul is offering a Trinitarian blessing of grace, love and fellowship.

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ
and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you."

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, may we always remember God's love, Christ's grace, and the Holy Spirit's fellowship. Thanks be to God!

"Glory and praise forever!"

πŸ™βœοΈβ€οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡² We pray that everyone has a safe and blessed Memorial Day. Let us remember to pray for the families that have lost their loved ones, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. God bless all of our veterans.

Thank you, Mr. Will Long, our Catechist who teaches our Confirmation students, for inviting our Confirmandi to join in placing American flags on Veteran gravestones at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. St. Joseph the Worker youth, who are preparing to receive their Sacrament of Confirmation are required to complete community service hours.

We are so proud of our youth and their families who joined in this opportunity to bless and to be a blessing.

Spending time together with family and friends doing a good deed was such an honor. When our youth actively exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit they manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit.
So thankful to our youth for their faithfulness, generosity, kindness, and goodness.

May we always remember to be thankful for the women and men who serve in the Armed Forces for our freedom. Let us remember to pray for these and our Nation.

May we also remember the sacrifice of our Lord who gives each of us the freedom from hell. Our hope is in heaven!
