Heb 13:17 Obey your spiritual leaders and recognize their authority, for they keep watch over your soul without resting since they will have to give an account to God for their work. So it will benefit you when you make their work a pleasure and not a heavy burden.

Quit treating your Pastors common. Give them the honor they deserve. Quit calling them by their first name like they are your fishing buddies. Put a Pastor or Brother or Sister in front of their name. You will never truly receive a word from someone you don't honor and respect. That's why its so easy for you to complain about or criticize them. For 20 years i was treated two different ways, 1 was by those who called me Tony and 1 by them that called me pastor Tony. Those who called me pastor Tony made it a honor and a blessing to pastor. Unless you have pastored you have no idea of the pressure and weight that they feel everyday. Last thing honor their children as well they have a bright light pointed at their lives even if they don't deserve it. Their just kids like yours trying to grow up and learn to be men and women of God like everyone else. I promise you, you will grow and so will your church. Be blessed and give honor where honor is due.

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Seeking is not a one time event. If we ever quit seeking then we will become satisfied with what we have or what we have experienced and our worship will become stale because we worship what we know. In order to have a more intense worship life/experience it has to come thru a revelation of a seekers lifestyle and you have to be smart enough or open enough to really understand and to come to terms that in this moment in life you are not even close to having your eyes of understanding truly or fully opened to what the full potential in Christ is.

I could type for hours right now so more to come later. The only way to move past where you are right now is to seek the deeper things of God. Deep calls to Deep.

Just like you must prepare the ground for planting, we must prepare our hearts and minds to grow what word He puts before us.

Change your atmosphere, play Christian music, pray, read the Bible. God is moving and working.

Wednesday evening service was a true experience of God's presence meeting us there in the sanctuary.

Then Bro. Dave brought forth such an amazing word.
God gave us a promise, he would never leave us nor forsake us.
The point is that the Lord will provide all that we need for a life founded on faith.
It's not saying we won't experience hard times, but our trust and faith in God will sustain us.
He read the poem "Footprints in the Sand". A lot of times we take these words that were written after experiences of what the author went through for granted.
God was always there as He will be for us.
