CCCV Kids We seek to help children grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus, our Lord.

Our goal in the CCCV Kids Ministry is to teach kids the Word of God and come alongside parents to build a foundation that will edify and establish kids in the faith.

💡✨ Let Your Light Shine! ✨💡

We're excited for a special night in Kids Ministry on Wednesday, October 28th at 7:00pm!

Kids from infants through 6th grade, including our friends with Special Needs, will gather for an evening centered around Jesus' words in Matthew 5:14–16:

“You are the light of the world.”

Through engaging Bible teaching, worship, and hands-on activities designed for each age group, kids will discover what it means to shine for Jesus and how their words, choices, and actions can reflect His light and love to the people around them.

We'll also have a special fall sweet treat to make the evening even more fun! 🍂✨

Our prayer is that every child leaves encouraged to live differently—not by hiding their faith, but by allowing the light of Jesus to shine through them wherever they go.

🍂🍞 A Recipe for Gratitude 🍞🍂
Everything on the table starts with Him!

This Thanksgiving, we're inviting your kids to join us for a special evening of gathering, worship, and giving thanks!

Have you ever felt like what you have to offer is just a little? Maybe it doesn't seem like enough to make a difference.

Through the story of the Widow of Zarephath in 1 Kings 17:8–16, our kids will discover that God sees what we have, even when it feels not enough. One woman trusted God with the little she had and experienced His faithful provision.

Our prayer is that every kid will be encouraged to recognize the many ways God has provided for them and learn that even the smallest things can be placed in His hands with a grateful heart.

Kids will enjoy:

🎉 Celebrating 45 Years of Faithful Teaching! 🎉

Today, we want to take a special moment to honor and thank Pastor David Rosales for 45 years of faithfully teaching God’s Word and serving the Lord!

Pastor David, thank you for your steadfast commitment to the Scriptures, for pointing us continually to Jesus, and for faithfully shepherding the church through the years.

Your ministry has touched generations of families, and we are especially grateful for the way your faithful teaching has helped lay a foundation of God's Word in the hearts of so many children.

As Kids Ministry servants, we are blessed to come alongside the work the Lord has entrusted to you by teaching and encouraging the next generation to know Him and walk in His truth.

Thank you for your example of faithfulness, your love for God's Word, and your continued service unto the Lord.

🙌 More Than Just a Worship Song

What does it really mean to praise God?

At Magnified: Made to Praise, we're going to help kids discover that praise isn't just something we do when we're singing at church. We can praise God in the way we live.

On Saturday, October 17th, kids in 2nd–6th grade will spend the day learning practical ways they can magnify God through their everyday lives. Through teaching, worship, small-group conversations, and hands-on activities, they'll be encouraged to see how their words, choices, attitudes, and actions can all bring glory to God.

And because learning is always better with some fun mixed in, we'll also have games, outdoor activities, a craft, lunch, dinner, and a campfire with s’mores! 🔥🍫

It's going to be a full day of growing in faith, building friendships, and learning what it means to praise God together.

🎟️ $45 per kid
📝 Registration closes THIS SUNDAY, October 11th

🙏 Let's Show Pastor David Some Appreciation! 🙏

Pastor Appreciation is a wonderful opportunity to pause and thank the Lord for our pastor and the faithful way he serves, teaches, and shepherds our church family.

Sunday, October 11th, appreciation cards will be available near all of the KidCheck stations.

As you check in your kids, we invite you to take a moment to pick up a card and write a special note of encouragement and gratitude to Pastor David.

You might thank him for his faithful teaching, his leadership, a message that has impacted your family, or simply for his years of service unto the Lord.

A small note can be a meaningful encouragement to someone who has spent so many years pouring into others.

Let's take this opportunity to bless Pastor David and let him know how thankful we are for his faithful service to the Lord and our church family!

🏗️📖 Building Foundations: Laying the Groundwork for Lifelong Faith 📖🏗️

We’re excited to offer a special 4-week class for our 2nd–6th graders this November!

As our kids grow, we want to help them not only learn what the Bible says, but also understand the foundational truths of the Christian faith and know how to live those truths out in their everyday lives.

During Building Foundations, students will:

📖 Explore key Biblical doctrine
🔎 Learn who God is through Scripture
🧰 Be equipped with tools to help them understand God’s Word
🌱 Be encouraged to live out their faith every day

Each student will receive a booklet to use throughout the class as they learn and grow together.

Our prayer is that this class will help our kids build a strong and lasting foundation for their faith in Jesus Christ—one that they can continue building on for years to come.

💛 There’s a place for you to serve in Kids Ministry!

Our 4th–6th graders are entering an exciting season of their faith. They’re beginning to ask deeper questions, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and build a stronger foundation for their relationship with Jesus. This makes these years such an important time for caring adults to come alongside them, encourage them, and point them to Christ.

We currently have opportunities for servants in our 4th–6th grade classrooms:

Sunday 2nd Service
• Men: 1 Teacher + 1 Classroom Helper
• Women: 1 Classroom Helper

Wednesday Evening Service
• Men: 1 Teacher

Teachers lead the Bible lesson and guide the classroom, while classroom helpers support the teacher and help create a welcoming environment. No previous experience is necessary! We provide training, curriculum, and the resources you’ll need to serve.

If you’re new to serving or simply curious about getting involved, our Kids Ministry Servant Training is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn about the heart of Kids Ministry and discover the many ways you can serve—from infants through 6th grade, special needs ministry, worship, check-in, and behind-the-scenes opportunities.

🔎 What Were You Made For? You Were Made to Praise God!

We're excited to invite all 2nd–6th graders to Magnified: Made to Praise, an all-day experience designed to help kids discover what it means to magnify God's name in their everyday lives.

Using Psalm 34:1–3 as our guide, kids will take a closer look at what it means to continually praise the Lord, boast in Him, and “magnify His name together.”

Throughout the day, kids will discover that worship isn't limited to singing. We can praise God through our words, actions, attitudes, choices, and the way we live each day.

The day will include:

🙌 Worship
📖 Engaging teaching sessions
💬 Small-group discussions
🎯 Games & activities
🎨 A craft
🍕 Lunch & dinner
🔥 Campfire & s’mores
