🎉 The NC GMC Annual Conference is Here! 🎉
This week (Thursday, June 18 – Saturday, June 20), delegates from all over the state are gathering at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem for the North Carolina GMC Annual Conference.
First Methodist Church of China Grove is proud to be represented by:
Frank Greene (Lay Delegate)
Rev. Will Van Wieren (Clergy Delegate, and elected clergy delegate to the upcoming General Conference)
Mack King (Elected lay member of the delegation to the General Conference in South Africa this August 30–Sept 5)
What’s Happening?
It is going to be a wonderful time of worship, prayer, and fellowship! Together, the conference will:
Witness the ordination of 15 people into service as deacons and elders.
Celebrate the lives of ministers and spouses who have entered the church triumphant.
Rejoice with our retiring Conference Superintendent, Rev. David Banks, and welcome our new Superintendent, Rev. Kari Howard.
Honor Bishop Rev. Jeff Greenway as he leads our Annual Conference for the last time before his retirement.
Discuss and vote on important church business while renewing old friendships and making new ones.
