𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙑𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙 2026 𝙉𝙁𝘾𝘼 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙄𝙄 𝘼𝙡𝙡-𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙨

Pfeiffer University softball standouts Landry Stewart and Heather Vaughn have earned national recognition as both were named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA Division III All-America teams.

Stewart, a junior outfielder, continues to build one of the most decorated careers in program history. The China Grove, N.C. native turned in another dominant season, earning USA South Player of the Year honors for the second straight year after leading the conference in multiple offensive categories, including batting average, on-base percentage, runs, and hits. She also rewrote the league’s record book with a single-season mark for stolen bases, showcasing her elite speed and all-around impact.

Vaughn, a freshman first baseman from Eli Whitney, N.C., made an immediate impact in her debut season, emerging as one of the top young players in Division III. She was named USA South Rookie of the Year and earned first-team all-conference honors following a standout offensive campaign that helped power Pfeiffer throughout the season.

Both players were instrumental in leading the Falcons to another successful year, which included a conference championship and NCAA regional appearance. Prior to their All-America selections, Stewart and Vaughn were also recognized as first-team NFCA All-Region honorees, placing them among the top players in Region VI and positioning them for national consideration.

The All-America recognition marks another major milestone for Pfeiffer softball, as the program continues to gain national prominence with multiple postseason appearances and individual accolades. Stewart’s repeat dominance and Vaughn’s breakout freshman campaign highlight the strength of the Falcons’ roster and their continued success on the national stage
