Faith Alliance Church

Faith Alliance Church Faith Alliance Church is a bible based Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. We are a redeemed people through a personal faith in Jesus Christ. B.

SUMMER SUNDAY SERVICES:
Service will be held at 9AM (DISCOVERY LAND will be held during church in place of Children's Church)
We'll return to our REGULAR 10AM SERVICES the Sunday after Labor Day. We are the Christian & Missionary Alliance

CHRISTIAN: We believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We exalt Christ, not our experience. We trust in God, not in ritual. We seek to serve others, not

self. We cultivate fellowship, not sectarianism. The Christian and Missionary Alliance was founded by Dr. Albert B. Simpson, a minister who was deeply moved by the spiritual needs of people in this country and around the world. He founded the first Bible Institute in America and was the author of many hymns and books. However, the emphasis of A. Simpson's ministry was always Jesus Christ. MISSIONARY: More than 1,000 Alliance missionaries are serving in 47 countries around the world. These missionaries are involved in evangelism, church planting, Bible translation, theological education, medical work, and emergency relief work. Today the Alliance has over one million members in more than 8,000 churches around the world. Our middle name is "missionary." ALLIANCE: We are known as "the Alliance" because we are an alliance of people from many different traditions who are united in our faith in Jesus Christ and our desire to make Him known to the world. We are a fellowship of people who love the Lord and love each other. We gather to worship God, grow in our faith, and reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Tuesday, April 21
Your Truest Friend
Today's TTurning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah
For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; then I could hide from him. But it was you, a man my equal, my companion and my acquaintance. Psalm 55:12-13

We wonder what Jesus must have felt when He was betrayed by Judas and then denied by Peter. In His teaching on the End Times Jesus said that many will turn away from the faith and will betray their friends who choose to remain faithful (Matthew 24:10-11).

There are many examples of betrayal by friends in the Bible. Cain betrayed his brother Abel; Joseph was betrayed by his own brothers; Jacob betrayed his brother Esau. And David recounted numerous instances of his friends turning against him (Psalm 31:11; 38:11; 41:9; 55:12-13). It pays to choose friends wisely, though even a wise choice doesn’t guarantee loyalty. True friends are made for adversity (Proverbs 17:17), and there are friends who can be more loyal than family (Proverbs 18:24). One way to cultivate true friendships is by being the kind of friend you desire to have (Proverbs 18:24).

Give thanks today that Jesus is your truest friend (John 15:14-15).

What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!

Awana is a worldwide nonprofit ministry dedicated to providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for children and youth aged 2 to 18. Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed 2Timothy 2:15.
The organization aims to give children the opportunity to know, love, and serve Jesus, regardless of their background. Awana's mission is driven by the belief that the Gospel can transform lives and that every child should have access to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Just 2 nights left this year but join us next year beginning the Wednesday after Labor Day, September 9 for a night of teaching, games and friendship. 🥰

When Waters Rise
Today's TuTurning Point with Dr. David Jeremiah
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. Matthew 24:7, NIV

Like many residents of western North Carolina, Benny and Keva Messer lost everything in the floods spawned by Hurricane Helene in 2024. Samaritan’s Purse sent more than fifty thousand volunteers to the area. One crew built a new house for the Messers in Waynesville and gave them the keys and a deed that was stamped, “Paid in Full.”

“I am so overwhelmed,” said Keva. “So blessed!”

Benny said, “They prayed with [us] when they came. They let their light shine. I appreciate every one of them.”1 Samaritan’s Purse isn’t alone. Thousands of Christian organizations of all sizes go about their work every day around the world.

Natural disasters are horrific events, but it’s important to look past the tragedies to see what God is doing. During such times, many draw closer to each other and to the Lord. Volunteers band together, and Christians demonstrate God’s love and help others through troubled times.

What can you do to be an example and help to others in difficult times?

We need to focus not on what can be torn down by the storms of life, but on what stands for eternity. Franklin Graham

IT'S TIME FOR A REVIVAL
Morning with Jesus Dr. Joe Pettigrew
Wednesday, April 15, 2026

Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? Psalm 85:6

There is a stirring in the hearts of many, a quiet but persistent sense that something more is needed. We go about our daily lives, we attend church, we pray, but deep down, there is a longing for a fresh encounter with the living God. We look at the state of our world, our communities, and sometimes even our own hearts, and we recognize that a simple status quo is no longer enough. This deep spiritual hunger is a sign that it is time for a revival—a reawakening of our souls to the power and presence of God in a transformative way.

Revival is not just an emotional event with loud music and passionate sermons; it is a profound work of the Holy Spirit that begins in the heart of a single person. It is when we grow tired of spiritual complacency and begin to desperately seek His face. It is a return to our first love, a rekindling of the fire that once burned brightly within us. Revival happens when we stop being satisfied with a religion of habit and start pursuing a relationship of intimacy, where our hearts break for the things that break God's heart and we are filled with a holy passion to see His kingdom come on earth.

Today, let this be more than just an idea. Let it be a prayer that catches fire in your spirit. Join the chorus of the Psalmist and ask God, "Will you not revive us again?" Pray for a personal revival, that God would sweep through the dusty corners of your own heart, clearing out anything that hinders your walk with Him. Pray for a revival in your family, your church, and your nation. We serve a God who can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine.
