Today is May 1st. The start of Mental Health Awareness Month.

For a lot of people, “awareness” sounds simple.
But for those of us living it, it’s not.

It’s the days when getting out of bed feels like too much.
It’s the moments when your mind won’t slow down.
It’s the quiet battles no one else can see.

And for some of us, it’s loss. The kind that changes everything.

This month is about more than just awareness.
It’s about understanding, compassion, and showing up for each other.

At Moms Breaking the Silence, we talk about the hard things.
We say the names.
We share the stories.
We remind people they are not alone.
