13 teens and their chaperones came all the way up from Hillsdale UMC in North Carolina to construct this 24ft wheelchair ramp. Not only did they run thousands of screws and cut hundreds of boards but they also painted, weedeated, pressure washed, and mowed the lawn! These kids were unstoppable, their passion for serving was unlike anything I have ever seen and their enthusiasm was electric. To top it all off God gave us a good ol’ fashioned wash down with a downpour!

Special thanks to Noah Elliott (youth leader) and Ben Thompson (master planner) for sharing your amazing group with 2B3N, we would love to work with you again ANYTIME! Also special thanks to Michael McClaskey and Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers for again feeding these kids (and us adults!).

We have successfully constructed over 20 wheelchair ramps in the last 2 years and I have to say I have seen God in every one of them. This one was just icing on the cake, a servants heart is such a gift and to see it in our youth gives me great hope!

Attention 2B3N army! Please share!

This Monday August 9th beginning at 9am we will be constructing a 24ft wheelchair ramp for a gentleman out in Huntington hills who is need of the hands and feet of Christ. We have a group of 10 teens coming ALL THE WAY UP from Hillsdale UMC from down in North Carolina. These kids and their youth leaders have decided to come to our community to serve and I gotta say their enthusiasm thus far is exciting. I need just a few guys/gals who not only want the opportunity to serve through this project, but can be there to mentor these kids and teach them a little about carpentry. This is a great opportunity for discipleship, mentoring, and service and if that sounds like something you’d like to be a part of shoot me a message here through the page or text 740-253-6773. Friends, family, and everyone in between. 2 weeks ago my mother (Kathleen Powell) was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-cell non Hodgekin’s lymphoma, she is set to begin chemo this week. As this has placed a large strain on my family and my father is going to require my assistance quite often I have decided to take a leave of absence for the duration of her treatment (14 weeks). I am sorry for the burden this may cause for any of you but at this time I have to take care of my family. Please say a prayer for my mother and father as they navigate this difficult time. Not only was it the “Good Friday” but it was a great Friday. Last minute never looked so good. 12 guys, a little lumber, and a lot of laughs. Jesus changed the world with just 2 boards and 3 nails. We looked to bless Mr. Jerry with some boards and screws. Yet again a special thanks to Michael McClaskey and Raising Canes of Chillicothe for feeding this amazing crew. 7 of the volunteers today are firefighters from Chillcothe Fire Department. They came out to serve today in outstanding fashion and one even traded shifts just to be there! Serving others on the day that Jesus rendered the ultimate sacrifice is such a small gesture but all these guys showed up and they SERVED! Thank you all for your continued support to this ministry and the lives your helping change a ramp at a time.

It’s seems so fitting that we are building a ramp on Good Friday. The very meaning behind the name of the ministry, “with just 2 boards and 3 nails he changed the world”. We could never show the kind of love that Jesus showed us on this day, but you better believe we are gonna do all we can one wheelchair ramp at a time! Thank you Jesus and God bless you all!!!

**Very short notice!!!

2B3N friends and family, we have an urgent need for a wheelchair ramp we just became aware of last evening. The gentlemen in need was unexpectedly discharged from the nursing home Monday due to his insurances reluctance to pay for further housing. He was forced to move in with his family in their home just outside of Bourneville. Their home is not set up in the correct capacity to meet his needs. We are looking for volunteers for this Friday April 2nd beginning at 930am to construct a 24ft wheelchair ramp to meet this families need. Raising Canes of chillicothe has graciously offered to yet again feed the building crew lunch. If you can attend please send us a message or send text with name to 740-252-6773. It takes a village!!

It has been almost 3 years now since we began this journey into Christ-centered service with chillithe first Assembly of God ministry- 2 boards 3 nails. Over the course of these 34 months we have successfully completed 20 wheelchair ramps for those with physical disabilities, veterans, and the elderly individual. There has been well over $10,000 in materials that have been purchased through donations alone. God truly has blessed us beyond our wildest imagination for where we would and could be just 3 years from the time our mission began. As many know building material costs have increased at an exponential percentage. The average ramp material cost has gone from $700-$800 to $1000-$1100. We look only to serve one step at a time and in the direction God tells us to go and all of our time is strictly volunteered. Without your prayers and support this mission would not be possible.

If you feel as though God himself has placed it on your heart to help continue this mission and service to our beautiful community and surrounding areas, I ask please pray on it. Sorry for the delayed noticed! This Friday March 26th beginning at 930am we will be constructing a 32 foot wheelchair ramp for a very deserving veteran at 212 S Harris St, bainbridge Ohio. We realize it is a Friday and many people work throughout the week but if your one those lucky cats that are free we would love to have you! Come out for some good old fashioned fellowship and service to a member of the community. No need to bring anything besides an open heart. I’ve been told many a times what a blessing this ministry is for those who receive a ramp, let me be the first to say that I believe to be true but they aren’t the only ones receiving a blessing.

This venture started over 2 years ago between a heart that longed to serve a community and many prayers to God asking for direction. Now here we sit looking back at all the projects that we have been able to successfully complete and I realize...

I have been BLESSED beyond measure! I have a group of friends/brothers that I have established that I consider to be like a second family. These men selflessly give their time and efforts to show people they have never even met that they are a condiut of the love that Jesus has for them. For that, I feel like I am the one receiving the blessing. I love each and every one of you and I think it’s pretty evident you must love back because time and time again these guys SHOW UP BIG!

I wish blessings upon the Karr Family this Christmas and I hope and pray that just this small gesture has shown you that God is with you and he loves you!

God bless all of you as well that have donated money, prayers, and blessings upon this ministry and allowed us to operate in a way that leaves me humbled EVERY TIME.
