From the Heart of the Pastorās Wifeš©·
Iāve been reflecting a lot the last two days on how blessed Aaron and I are by the people of Beulah Chapel. Not only us but the church as a whole and the community are being blessed by the efforts of so many taking lead in many areas of the church.
In full transparency - itās hard. Trying to think about everything that needs done:
- ādoes the parking lot need restriped?ā
- ādoes childrenās church need supplies for the upcoming curriculumā
- ādo they need help cleaning up the grime in the youth church room?ā (š
)
- āwe saw a bees nest outback, should I tell someone or just get it ourselves?ā
- āgoodness the weeds and brush near the woods are getting out of control!ā
- āthis dirt got tracked in we will have to get it before service tonightā
- āAaron seems discouraged I wonder if people noticeā
- āI wonder if anyone thought of writing ______ a card or sending flowersā
- ādo we have enough for the church dinner coming up?ā
- āthereās a leak I wonder if the guys noticedā
- āwho is going to step up should xyz happenā
- āthe weeds are taking over againā¦ā
And I promise this list could go on. Crazy enough, those things above have been addressed/taken care of by people who have stepped up on their own this week!
The past few days - people who donāt even hold any speck of a title have stepped up to take care of the church property, think of the things we havenāt yet, and lended their time for people and Godās house. We see people at the church early in the morning, late at night, and on weekends taking time out of their day to help the church (which touches the community!) What you do for God will one day be rewarded!
As a pastors wife it has blessed me so much to know there are people who are seeing needs and just doing them because they want Godās house to look its best, they desire to see services thrive, and they simply just care.
We have the best people at Beulah and you donāt know how much it means to us that we have people to rely on to build Godās little corner of the kingdom at Beulahš
Thank you to every person. My prayer the last few weeks has been to see people who want to help the church know they have a hand in Godās house. Position or no position, big job or small job.
The future of our church is bright āļø
We are so blessed!
