We are incredibly blessed to have many Godly spiritual leaders who have made the decision to honor the Governor’s request to not hold public services. The RCMA wants to encourage people looking for a message of hope, particularly here in Chillicothe/Ross County, to go to the page of our friends at the Ross County National Day of Prayer. Several of our churches are conducting online services today. Several of those services will be done on Facebook Live this morning. Because most will overlap each other, Ross County National Day of Prayer will post all the services they are aware of on their page throughout the day. Go check out some uplifting worship and inspiring messages!

The Bible is clear about God’s love for the city, be it Babylon,Nineveh, or Jerusalem. Thousands of years later, His lovehasn’t changed—and God still calls His people to speak truth to the cities of the world. In City Changers, Alan Platt shows how we need to be in the classroom...

From Rev. Terry Williams:

Hello Church Leaders!

Please help us advertise your church!

Pastors Vanessa Myers-Dudley, Joe Ziraldo, and I are planning an outreach service event for Ash Wednesday called “Ashes to Go!”

During Ash Wednesday, we will be available downtown to pray with people and to impose Ashes with a blessing. This ministry is intended to provide people in our community an opportunity to participate in Ash Wednesday worship even if they are unable to attend a local church service.

As part of the ministry, we will be providing a list of local churches along with contact information and service times for Lent and Easter.

If you would like your church to be listed in this resource, please email [email protected] with the following information:

1) Church Name
2) Church Physical Address
3) Church phone number &/or email address
4) Ash Wednesday Service time(s) (If any)
5) Special Lenten Service Dates & Times (If any)
6) Regular Sunday Worship times
7) Easter Sunday Worship times

Any church that replies by noon on Monday Feb.12 will be included.

It is our intention to build up the Body of Christ in Chillicothe by helping to connect people more closely with local congregations through this innovative new ministry.

For more information on the international “Ashes to Go” ministry, please see their website at this address: https://ashestogo.org/about-ashes-to-go/

Blessings as we enter the Lenten journey together!
