Do you believe in the God of the Bible, most people do, but do you also believe in His only begotten son, Jesus Christ? If you do, and I hope you do, “believing” alone or in itself is not enough. Believing, in the spiritual sense, requires an action to go with it. We must take this belief a step farther, and with it, which is the conviction of the Holy Spirit, pushing us, burdening us and our consciousness to do something more. Lots of times or most times not knowing exactly what it is. But feeling within ourselves we need something more, something is missing within us, and that something or someone is Jesus Christ. He came to seek and to save the world of their sins, “our sins”! That something more I previously spoke of is the need to ask Christ into our hearts, by confessing our sins to Him and asking His forgiveness. This is the process the Bible speaks of in John 3:3, “we must be born again”! Now He already knows our sins, each and everyone of them, but He requires that we confess them as a whole, to Him. He wants to know that we know them, but on our own, can’t do anything about them. He is the only one that can forgive and then forget our sins, never to bring them up to you again. This can be done anywhere, at your bedside, in your garage, or at an old tree stump, or anywhere else as you feel this need. It’s good to be in a Bible believing church though, where other Christians can pray with you and help support you.
If you feel and realize there is something missing in your life, you need forgiveness and want a life’s change, I would once again encourage you to find you a good Bible believing church and start attending. But if you don’t have one in mind, I would like to invite you to Maple Grove C.U. Church!
