This is a GREAT concept about the valley’s and the mountains!! I had never thought of it like this. But it’s soo true!! Our God knows what we need when we need it 🥰
Have you ever wondered why the best grass is in the valley?
Have you ever noticed on the way back up the mountain that the soil becomes more unproductive the higher we go?
Have you ever noticed the top of the tallest mountains in the world that nothing grows at all ?
It’s only rock.
God designed it this way for purpose…
The valley’s are hard and it’s where we need to be fed the most , but most often we think it’s only for the present storm we are going through at the time , but’s it’s much more than that.
He’s preparing us for the journey to the top of the mountain where the grass becomes harder to find, but it’s from the top where we can see the valley’s purpose and promise…
Every purpose has a promise.
A valley can’t exist without another mountain, so the top isn’t our purpose , it’s only a place to see our purpose…
We know in order to eat the best grass , we must go into the valley again.
As I’m working the ground God provided for us to feed the world , I’m thinking of how we are in need of a rain to help our seed emerge.
The meteorologist are forecasting a good chance of that rain today , but they are also predicting the rain may be associated with storms…
You see , where the grass is the best , most often it takes a storm to bring the rain the grass needs to grow, but EVERY storm comes with a rainbow to remind us there is a promise in it’s purpose…
The valleys are hard , but it’s where we find the best grass…
It’s where we build our strength and endurance to climb the mountain.
It’s where we keep climbing even when we don’t know the purpose because we have faith that the mountain top will reveal it to us when we get there..
Today , as crazy as it may sound , I’m most thankful for the valley where the grass is the best because I know and trust the storm will be calmed when it’s purpose and promise is fulfilled.
“On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?””
