Calling on all my prayer warriors. Let’s keep a prayer chain going for all those involved in the recent flooding at Camp Mystic in Kerrville. The Bible says “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”. God can still bring miracles out of this tragedy.

As born again believers we are all striving towards the goal of one day making it to Heaven, but consider this…
The day you gave your life to Christ, that ticket was already punched!
We should instead be focused on not just reaching Heaven’s gates, but reaching them having fulfilled the calling that God has placed on our lives.

Let’s talk about pastors — the ones you don’t see on stages or livestreams.

Not every pastor is standing in front of thousands, preaching to packed crowds with million-dollar budgets and viral video clips. In fact, the majority aren’t.

Most pastors are faithfully serving in small churches, often with fewer than 50 people.
No fame. No fanfare. No flashing lights.
Just faithfulness.

Many of their families are quietly living on Medicaid, food stamps, or other support systems — not because they’re lazy or irresponsible, but because they’ve sacrificed everything to shepherd the souls of others.

They show up week after week.
They preach funerals.
They counsel the hurting.
They mow the church lawn and take out the trash.
And then they go home… sometimes to bare cupboards and overdue bills.

These are the unsung heroes of the faith — the most exposed, emotionally burdened, and often the least appreciated.

So, I’m asking you: Pray for your pastor.
Pray for the ones who aren’t “platform famous” but are Heaven’s MVPs.
Let them know they’re seen. Send a message. Drop off a meal. Encourage them.

They’re not just leading churches — they’re holding up people who might otherwise fall.
