🎓MADE FOR MORE! ❤️ 💙

What a joy to host Chickasaw High School Class of 2027 for their Senior Breakfast this morning! From games and laughter to a little “Shirley” sweetness, we loved celebrating these students and reminding them that God created each of them with purpose. Their lives hold possibilities beyond what they can see today!

Thank you to everyone who cooked, decorated, set up, served, and cleaned up. You helped make room for these seniors to feel welcomed, loved, and celebrated. ❤️

Class of 2027, enjoy the milestones, take in the moments, and keep seeking God’s purpose for your lives. Your neighbors at Chickasaw Methodist are proud of you and we are cheering you on! 🎉

Our Ageless Adventurers headed out on Tuesday for one of our favorite trips. We went to Fulmer's General Store in Beaumont, Mississippi. Fulmer's is really way out in the woods, but they provide us with a great lunch, sell unique merchandise, have an old fashioned farm with live animals, and is just a fun place to visit.

A big THANK YOU to our Men’s Club for last week’s delicious dinner! We’re looking forward to having the men back in the kitchen tonight—this time, our Men’s Sunday Morning Class will be serving up a meal made with love! 🍽️

Join us for dinner at 5:30 PM, then stay for:

💬 Alpha for adults- bring all your faith questions!
👶 Nursery provided

Yesterday, worship looked a little different at Chickasaw Methodist Church.

In place of our regular Sunday morning services, we put our faith into action by serving our neighbors after the hurricane. Helping with cleanup and showing up for one another became an expression of worship—loving God by loving His people.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and willing hearts. (Sorry - we were so busy working, we did not get pictures of everyone who served!).

We give thanks for God’s protection and continue praying for those affected by the storm.

For Jesus. For Chickasaw. Love shows up.

Whether he’s preaching, teaching, baptizing, or helping us grow in our faith, Brother Dave Rhodes continues to point us to Jesus. And whether he’s driving the bus, picking up trash, cleaning bathrooms at the high school, or doing crazy experiments to capture our attention, he reminds us that ministry happens in all kinds of ways! ❤️

He has led us through a pandemic, a denomination change, a new parking lot, and building renovations. Through seasons of challenge, change, and celebration, he continues to lead with a servant’s heart and a love for our church and community.

On this Pastor Appreciation Day, we thank God for Brother Dave—for his faithful leadership, his humor, and the way he shares his life with us.

“We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.” —1 Thessalonians 2:8
