What a special week at youth summer camp! 🎉

Here are a few more highlights from the second half of the week! We loved celebrating the boldness and enthusiasm of our students throughout the week — from those who stepped out of their comfort zones to compete in the Lip Sync Challenge, to the students who didn't give up when competing in The Amazing Race, to those learning memory verses, to those who took home the Camp Awards for Axe Throwing and Pizza Making!

But most importantly, we praise God for the courageous decisions made by several of our students who either accepted Christ for the very first time or recommitted their lives to Him during the invitation times throughout the week. There is nothing greater than seeing young people take bold steps of faith and respond to the Good News of Jesus!

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” — Romans 10:15

Thank you for praying for our students, leaders, and this incredible week at camp! ❤️

Does anyone have an inflatable yard decoration that no longer works or one you don’t need. We had an inflatable parrot on our property facing Grant Street to draw attention to our Vacation Bible School Banner. Please see the picture. Last night someone walked off with the plug on our parrot. I didn’t learn until this morning that that plugs can be unscrewed, kind of like a light bulb. So, if you have an inflatable decoration that you will spare the plug for, please give me a call and I will come and get it. You can buy a new one, but it would be a few days before it arrives. So, if you can help our church, send me a text or email.
Thanks.

Day 2 of camp and we are settling into the roller coaster that youth camp can be with teenagers — lots of energy, emotions, laughter, conversations, and moments where God is clearly at work.

We are so thankful for the powerful, anointed preaching and worship times centered around the theme of Good News. It has been beautiful to watch students lean in, worship boldly, and hear the truth of Jesus spoken over them.

In between the worship and small groups, there has also been plenty of fun — pizza making, a riverboat adventure, archery, axe throwing, marksmanship, orbs, and lots of swimming!

Please continue praying for our students and leaders. Pray that hearts remain open, friendships deepen, and that the Good News of Jesus would take root in a real and lasting way in the lives of all!

Day one of camp at Realife Blue Springs is in the books!

After a long ride through the rain and a stop at Chik-fil-A, we safely arrived and jumped right into camp life. The students have already been swimming, connecting, laughing, and making memories together.

Last night, we experienced a powerful time of worship as many responded to the invitation to invite the power of the blood of Jesus to cover their lives. We truly believe this is the result of so many prayers being lifted up on their behalf before we ever arrived! Keep praying for us church!

Now today is a brand new day at camp, and we are excited to see what God has in store next. Thank you for continuing to pray for these students, leaders, and this entire week. God is already moving in beautiful ways. ❤️

Summer camp week is underway! 🚌☀️

Our students and leaders are on the road and excited for all God has in store this week at camp. We would love for our church families at Stillwater Church and Chickasaw Methodist Church to be praying for safe travels today and for God to begin preparing hearts even before they arrive.

Please pray for:
✨Safety and protection while traveling
✨Unity and encouragement among students
✨Open hearts ready to hear from God
✨Bold faith and life-changing moments
✨Strength, wisdom, patience, and energy for our leaders!

We are thankful for every prayer over this next generation and can’t wait to see what God does this week! ❤️

May 24th was another packed-out day for us as a church family. It was Pentecost Sunday that fell on Aldersgate Day. I was of the opinion that John Wesley would want us to focus on the Holy Spirit over his own experience with God. We also prayed for our youth going to Camp Real Life this week and Macy Wheeler who is going to start her ministry at Blue Lake today. We saluted our veterans as part of recognizing Memorial Day. We wrapped up the service praying for one another to live in the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
