Church is more than a building — it’s people. ❤️

Last week, some of our staff and ministry leaders shared a little about who they are, why they serve, and what they love about being part of the life of our church.

Tomorrow, Brother Dave Rhodes continues our series in Ephesians with Ephesians 2:11–22, a passage that reminds us that through Christ, we are no longer strangers or outsiders. We are fellow citizens, members of God’s family, and people being built together.

Different ages. Different backgrounds. Different stories. Different gifts.
One church family, with Christ as our Cornerstone.

It’s Wednesday!!!
Reconnect on Wednesday is one of the ways we get to live out what church community looks like. ❤️

Each week, different small groups and ministry teams serve together by preparing the meal, welcoming others, and helping make the evening possible. It’s a simple but meaningful way to show up, serve together, and make room for others at the table.

Tonight, our Transitions Sunday Class is serving spaghetti, cheesy garlic bread, and salad! 🍝

Dinner begins at 5:30 PM, followed by opportunities for all ages to learn, grow, worship, and reconnect beginning at 6:00 PM.

Whether you’re part of CMC already or just looking for a place to connect, you are welcome!

By Tuesday, the week can already feel heavy. You’re tired, stretched thin, and wondering how you’re going to make it to the weekend. Maybe what you need isn’t to push through alone, but to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

That’s exactly why we Reconnect on Wednesday!

And you don’t have to already be part of the CMC church family to come. There’s a place for you here.

There’s something for every age, so bring the whole family!

5th Sundays at CMC mean Town Hall! ❤️

We gather around the table for breakfast, fellowship, and a chance to hear what’s happening in the life of our church.

Today was extra special as we got to know our ministry staff a little better—and had plenty of laughs playing a fun game to see just how much we know about CMC!

There is so much happening, so many people serving, and so many ways God is at work in and through our church family!

We’re grateful to God for every moment of it.

And we're grateful to be doing it all together.

Since 1900 there have been many leaps forward with technology that make our lives better. I think of the airplane and the polio vaccine as two that have greatly improved our lives. Yet, many other problems persist with the human race that there aren't a simple cure for. Ephesians 6:12 speaks of the battles we fight with forces that are invisible, but very real. We at our church deeply believe in the power of prayer to fight this invisible battle. We not only want to be faithful to fight the battle in our own lives and in our church, but also in our community. That is why we joined with other disciples from other churches of our city and the schools to pray for our city's schools and the new school year.
