The Fall Festival is always a highlight each year and you're invited. Join us on the front lawn of Matthew's House Sunday afternoon from 4:30-7:30pm. We'll have hot dogs and hamburgers, have an egg toss and Punkin Chunkin, and s'mores, and a whole lot of great fellowship in between. Bring a side dish to share, a lawn chair to sit in, and a blanket to keep warm if the temperatures are on the cool side. See you there!

It may be Fall Break, but you know we're still having at ! Join us Friday before or after the game for hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ sandwiches (think McRib's!), snacks, drinks, music, Bingo (before the game beginning at 6pm), and lots of yard games! We start serving at 6pm and we wrap up by 11pm. See you then!

Today, Aging with Attitude, our Senior Adult ministry at took a roadtrip to Ellijay for lunch at Cantaberry Restaurant and apple picking at R and A Orchards. Many thanks to the good folks at Wilson Funeral Homes for the wonderful transportation!

A couple of weeks ago, we gave out envelopes during worship, 5 of which had $20 bills in them. Whether your envelope had the $20 in it or whether the $20 had to come out of your own pocket, the challenge was the same: bless somebody with $20. You’ll be hearing a story of someone in our church family’s generosity this coming Sunday and how they were blessed. It’s going to be really cool.

In the meantime, here’s how to know you’re doing generosity the right way: when your credit card sends you an email alert asking if you meant to leave a 47% tip at a restaurant.
