A little last-minute, but we’re excited to share our special day coming up in just a few weeks!

On Sunday, October 25th, we’ll have a Day of Praise at Liberty Baptist Church.

We’re especially looking forward to having the Thurmond Family traveling all the way from Mississippi to minister to us in song. We’ll also have Evangelist Randy Bell with us preaching the word of God.

Following the service, we’ll have dinner on the grounds, so plan to stay and fellowship with us!

We’re praying for a special day of worship, singing, preaching, and fellowship, and we’d love for you to join us. Make plans now to join us!

We apologize for no livestream for our service this evening. SermonAudio is experiencing some outages and it is beyond our control. We will post the service following.

Sunday Evening – September 13, 2026

Join us this Sunday evening as Pastor John Wheeler brings a message titled "The Day Is Coming: Nobody Is Exempt" from Joel 1:4–13. We'll consider Joel's warning of coming judgment and the sobering truth that no one is exempt from the consequences of turning away from God.

Come prepared to worship, hear the word of God faithfully preached, and be challenged by the warnings and truths of scripture.

Whether you're joining us in person or watching online, we're thankful to have you with us.

We apologize for the lack of a livestream this morning. We began the service live as usual, but started experiencing significant internet/network issues that were causing the stream to be very unstable.

Rather than continue with a poor-quality livestream, we made the decision to stop the live broadcast and continue recording the service locally. Lord willing, we will have the full service uploaded later today once everything is finished.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

After faithfully representing Liberty Baptist Church for the past nine years, we felt it was time to refresh our logo.

While the look has changed, our message has not. The open Bible reminds us that everything we believe, preach, and practice is rooted in the scriptures. The olive tree is inspired by Isaiah 61:1–3, and the lighter branch represents the Gentiles being grafted into the natural olive tree as pictured in Romans 11.

Our desire remains the same: Proclaiming Liberty in Jesus.

A special thank you to Megan Morrison Garner of Little Bitty Creativity for taking our vision and thoughtfully bringing it to life. We appreciate the time, creativity, and care she invested throughout this project

Our livestream with Brother Spencer had a few technical issues this morning, possibly due to a Wi-Fi problem. Thankfully, we were recording, and we’ll have the full replay posted this afternoon. You won’t want to miss it!

Dear Church Family,

The City of Chickamauga has announced a planned power outage tomorrow night (Saturday, June 13) due to TVA emergency substation repairs. The outage is expected to begin around 11:00 PM and last until approximately 4:00 AM Sunday morning.

Please take a few moments to prepare by charging phones, flashlights, and any other devices you may need. Also, if you use a clock radio, bedside clock, coffee maker timer, or any other appliance that may lose its settings during a power outage, be sure to check and reset it afterward.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Pastor John

We apologize for the technical difficulties with this morning’s livestream, which caused the broadcast to be interrupted unexpectedly.

I was able to restart the recording as quickly as possible and plan to release a combined version of the service later. Unfortunately, a small portion will be missing, but we hope the remainder of the message will still be a blessing.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued prayers for Liberty Baptist Church.
