🔋 HOW FULL IS YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTERY?

We charge our phones.

We charge our tablets.

We charge our watches.

We charge almost everything we depend on.

But when was the last time you intentionally stopped to recharge spiritually?

Sometimes we keep going while our spiritual battery is flashing LOW.

We serve.

We help.

We work.

We care for others.

We handle responsibilities.

And before we realize it, we are trying to pour from an empty place.

God never intended for us to live spiritually depleted.

Ephesians 3:16 speaks of being strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner person.

Maybe your recharge today looks like worship.

Maybe it's opening your Bible.

Maybe it's sitting quietly with Jesus.

Maybe it's getting some much-needed rest.

Maybe it's saying "no" to something so you can say "yes" to time with God.

Don't wait until you're completely empty.

Reconnect to your Source.

📝 Reflection Questions

• What has been draining you lately?

• What activities genuinely restore you spiritually?

• Have you been spending more time pouring out than allowing God to pour into you?

📖 Journaling Prompt

Jesus, show me where I have become spiritually depleted. What do You want me to do differently so I can remain connected to You?

🍂 **A NEW SEASON IS BEGINNING**

September reminds us that seasons change—and so do we.

Sometimes God changes our surroundings. Sometimes He changes our assignments. And sometimes, before anything around us changes, He begins changing something **within us**.

You may be entering this month carrying unanswered prayers, unfinished goals, or situations that did not turn out the way you expected. But don't assume that because you haven't seen the answer yet, God isn't working.

There are things happening beneath the surface.

There are prayers God is answering in ways you cannot yet see.

There are doors being prepared.

There are lessons being learned.

And there is strength developing inside of you for the season ahead.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, *"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven."*

Instead of asking, "Why isn't this happening yet?" perhaps September is an opportunity to ask:

**"Lord, what are You developing in me during this season?"**

📝 **Reflection Questions**

• What season of life do you believe you are currently experiencing?

• What might God be asking you to release as you enter a new season?

• What do you sense God inviting you to embrace?

📖 **Journaling Prompt**

**Jesus, as I enter this new season, what do You want me to leave behind, and what do You want me to carry forward?**

Sit quietly for a few moments. Write what comes to your heart.

💬 **Let's talk!**

Describe your current season in **ONE WORD**.

Mine is: __________.

Headline: From Survivor to Advocate: My "Here for This" Moment This September 🩸💙

This September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s a time that hits incredibly close to home. For those who don’t know, I am a survivor of Multiple Myeloma—a battle that reshaped my life and gave me a "heightened awareness" of just how precious every single day is.

When I was first diagnosed, the fear and uncertainty were overwhelming. But I realized early on that I wasn't alone, and that knowledge made all the difference. That is why I am proud to be a volunteer with Blood Cancer United (BCU) . The mission of BCU is deeply personal to me; it's about funding research that saves lives, advocating for patient protections, and building a community where no one feels isolated by their diagnosis.

Being part of the Blood Cancer United family has allowed me to turn my survival into a purpose—to be part of the "thread that unites" patients, families, and advocates working toward a cure.

Support the Mission by Reading My Story 📖
To mark this important month, I want to invite you to support the cause in a meaningful way. I’ve poured my heart into my book, Faithful Through the Fire, sharing the raw realities of my diagnosis, the resilience I found, and what it truly means to live with Multiple Myeloma.

Throughout the entire month of September, a portion of all book sales will be donated to Blood Cancer United. By purchasing a copy, you aren't just reading a story of survivorship—you are directly funding the cutting-edge research and patient support that gives people like me a chance to keep fighting. 🌟

Let’s work together to make sure more people are "here for" their precious moments. Every donation—or book purchased—makes a difference.

🌅 Every Sunrise Is a Reminder of New Mercy

One of the greatest gifts of summer is watching the sunrise.

Every morning God paints a brand-new picture across the sky as if He is whispering:

"I haven't forgotten you."

No matter what yesterday looked like...

His mercy is new.

His grace is sufficient.

His promises remain true.

You don't have to carry yesterday's disappointments into today's opportunities.

God specializes in fresh starts.

Scripture
"His mercies are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:22–23

Reflection Questions

🌞 What burden are you still carrying from yesterday?

🌞 What fresh beginning is God offering you today?

🌞 What are three things you can thank Him for right now?

Journaling Prompt

Jesus, thank You for new mercies. Today I surrender...........

Finish the sentence and spend a few moments thanking Him.

🌻 Bloom Where God Has Planted You

Every flower in a garden has a different purpose.

Some stand tall.
Some spread wide.
Some bloom early.
Others bloom later.

Yet every one reflects the beauty of its Creator.

You don't have to compare your journey with someone else's. God isn't asking you to become another person. He is inviting you to become everything He created you to be.

Maybe this season looks quieter than you expected. Maybe it feels like you're hidden.

Don't mistake hidden roots for a lack of growth.

God is developing strength beneath the surface that others cannot yet see.

Scripture
"Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish..." — Psalm 92:13

Reflection Questions

🌼 Where have you been comparing yourself to others?

🌼 What gifts has God already placed inside you?

🌼 How can you flourish where you are today?

Journaling Prompt

Lord, show me the beautiful things You are growing in me that I may not yet recognize.

🌸 Interaction Time

If you believe God is still working in your life, type "I'm still growing!" in the comments.

Let's encourage one another today!

☀️ Summer with the Savior: Slow Down and Hear His Voice

Summer has a way of reminding us that growth doesn't happen overnight.

The flowers don't rush to bloom.
The trees don't strive to produce fruit.
The sunrise never competes with the sunset.

Everything grows according to God's timing.

Sometimes we become so focused on our responsibilities that we forget to simply sit in God's presence. This summer, give yourself permission to pause. Rest is not laziness—it is an act of trust.

Jesus often withdrew to quiet places to pray (Luke 5:16). If the Son of God valued moments of stillness, how much more do we need them?

Today, find five quiet minutes. Sit outside if possible. Feel the warmth of the sun, notice the breeze, and thank God for His faithfulness. Let creation remind you that the Creator is near.

Scripture
"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10

Reflection Questions

☀️ What has been occupying your thoughts lately?

☀️ Where is God inviting you to slow down?

☀️ What blessings have you overlooked because you've been moving too quickly?

Journaling Prompt

Jesus, what do You want me to know about this season of my life?

Write whatever comes to your heart. Don't worry about perfection—just listen.

💜 We'd love to hear from you.

Complete this sentence:
This summer, God has been teaching me ____________.

JULY IS YOUR MONTH TO RECHARGE

Have you noticed that we charge almost everything we own? Our phones. Our computers. Our watches. Yet we often forget that our hearts, minds, and spirits need recharging too.

Perhaps you've spent the first half of the year pouring into everyone else. You've been praying for others, encouraging others, and carrying responsibilities that have left you spiritually weary.

Jesus is extending the same invitation He gave His disciples thousands of years ago:

"Come with Me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."
Mark 6:31 (NIV)

July is your reminder that God never intended for you to live spiritually exhausted. He desires to restore your joy, renew your strength, and refill your spirit with His presence.

At Glory Light Ministries, we are embracing 2026 as The Year to Spiritually Recharge, and we believe God wants to do something beautiful in your life.

This month:

Rest more.
Worship deeper.
Pray longer.
Laugh often.
Trust God completely.
Make room for His presence.

Remember, you cannot pour from an empty vessel. Let Jesus refill you.

✍🏽 Two-Way Journaling With Jesus

Jesus, what part of my life needs spiritual renewal today?

Lord, what do You want me to receive from You this month?

We would love to hear from you! What one word describes what you're believing God for in July?
