🙏🏽 National Day of Prayer 🙏🏽 From Glory Light Ministries

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today we pause with grateful hearts on this National Day of Prayer to acknowledge that You alone are our source, our strength, and our hope.

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face… then I will hear from heaven…”
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

Lord, we pray for our families, our communities, our churches, our schools, our leaders, and our nation. In a world filled with uncertainty, division, and weariness, we ask that Your peace would reign and Your Spirit would move mightily across this land.

Father, spiritually recharge Your people. Restore joy to the weary. Bring healing to the brokenhearted. Strengthen those battling illness, grief, fear, or discouragement. Remind us that You are still God, still faithful, and still working all things together for good.

Jesus, teach us to walk in love, humility, wisdom, and truth. Let revival begin in our hearts first. Fill our homes with prayer, our mouths with encouragement, and our lives with the light of Christ.

We pray for unity in the Body of Christ and for hearts to turn back to You. Let hope arise where darkness has lingered. Let healing flow where pain has settled. Let faith rise stronger than fear.

Nature as a Sanctuary

We spend so much time trying to find God in the right places. We drive to the right church building. We tune into the right podcast. We open the right translation of the Bible. These are all good things. But sometimes, we forget that God built a sanctuary long before we built a steeple.

Today, I want to challenge you to step outside. Find a patch of grass. Sit on a park bench. Roll down your car window and just listen for five minutes. Look at the engineering of a flower petal. Watch the single-minded determination of an ant. Listen to the complexity of a bird's song.

These are not random accidents. They are handiwork. They are the fingerprints of a Creator who loves detail, who loves color, and who loves life. When you feel your spiritual battery running low, sometimes the fastest way to recharge is to remove yourself from the noise of humanity and sit in the quiet of creation. Let the fresh air remind you that God is still in the business of making all things new. Let the breeze remind you that the Spirit moves where He pleases. And let the warmth of the sun on your skin remind you that the Son has not forgotten you.
