Prayer & Fasting • This week we gather each morning at 6:30am via YouTube Live (-chicago) for a moment of prayer led by Pastor Boyd. Additionally this is a week of intentional fasting.

Mark 9:29 informs us that some things only come out by prayer and fasting. We are fasting, together, from 10am - 5pm this week. Permissible foods to eat during this time are: whole grains, legumes (dried beans, pinto beans, split peas, lentils, and black eyed peas), fruits, vegetables, liquids (water, caffeine free herbal tea, natural fruit juice with no added sugar). The fast will conclude on Sunday, September 6th during Holy Communion.
