ATTENTION FACEBOOK FRIENDS: I am conducting research as part of the requirements for a Doctor of Education degree at Liberty University. The purpose of my research is to better understand how medical trauma affects Latino children aged 18 months – 4 years old from developing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. To participate, you must be 18 years of age or older, be the parent of a child who is between the ages of 18 months – 4 years old. Child has to currently be suffering from a medically diagnosed terminal illness, chronic illness, suffered a major accident, causing major bodily harm, and/or undergone 2 or more major surgeries and/or extensive hospital stays requiring intensive care, be Latino, Caucasian, or African American. Participants will be asked to complete an anonymous online survey, which should take about 10 minutes.
