Remembering the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001
On this solemn 25th Anniversary , we gather in prayerful remembrance of all those whose lives were taken on September 11, 2001, and we hold their families and loved ones in our hearts and prayers.
we remember that even in the midst of sorrow, Christ is our hope, our peace, and our Resurrection. We pray that the Lord may grant eternal rest to those who departed this life, comfort to those who continue to grieve, and strength to all who carry their memory.
Today, we also give special honor and gratitude to the First Responders - Firefighters, Police Officers, Paramedics, Emergency Personnel, and all who courageously ran toward danger to save others. We remember with profound respect those who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as those who continue to serve and protect our communities.
May God bless and protect ALL First Responders and their families. May He grant them strength, wisdom, courage, and peace as they continue their noble calling of service to others.
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
John 15:13
May the memory of all who perished be eternal.
May their families be surrounded by God’s love and consolation.
And may the Lord grant peace to our nation and to the whole world.
Αἰωνία ἡ μνήμη.
May their memory be eternal. We will never forget!
