St Michael's House of Prayer

St Michael's House of Prayer Saint Michael’s House of Prayer Nondenominational Church now serves as the diocesan (dī-ŏs'ĭ-sən) church for several other churches and ministries.

When People enter our sanctuary and see things that might appear a little different or maybe even a bit strange to them, they often ask, “What do you do here?” Our answer is, “We preach Jesus. We reach sinners. We exalt the Savior because of his goodness, grace and mercy. We equip the Saints for battle with the devil and his demons here on earth and we evangelize the lost that they might realize

that God loves them regardless of their sin and that they too can be saved if they desire to. We look forward to many, many, many more years to come in the work of the Gospel.

Because of the damages to our fellowship hall caused by the previous weeks storms, we must postpone our luncheon again as we are still in the process of completing the necessary repairs. We thank you for your patience with us, and we will announce the rescheduling date for the ladies luncheon very soon.

Due to recent and continuous severe weather conditions in the area, we are postponing our women’s day brunch scheduled for June 13 to June 27 same time applies same location applies but we must give ComEd and the city time to restore power to people’s homes and different locations, as well as cleaning up the downed trees and wire in our location please understand this was not an easy decision to make but we pray for everyone’s safety and comfort during this time of extreme weather. God bless you we look forward to seeing you in church on Sunday, June 14 God willing and at our brunch on June 27.
