What a powerful Youth Sunday worship experience at Union Tabernacle! 🙌🏾

We were blessed by Min. Alex, who preached from Revelation 2:1-7 with the message, “What’s Love Got to Do With It?” It was a timely reminder that even when we are serving, working, and showing up, God still calls us back to the heart of it all: our love for Him. ❤️

Our youth led, served, worshiped, and reminded us that the next generation is not just the church of tomorrow, they are a vital part of the church today. We also celebrated our graduates and thanked God for their hard work, accomplishments, and the bright futures ahead of them.

Yesterday, Pastor Walter Carter III delivered a timely and powerful message entitled “When Grief Interrupts the Celebration.” Psalm 46 📖

Life has a way of bringing unexpected moments that interrupt our plans, our joy, and even our celebrations. Yet Psalm 46 reminds us that
“When the world 🌎 shakes, be glad that God doesn’t”

We experienced a sobering moment during worship last Sunday when we received news of the passing of Spencer Leak, Jr. In an instant, a celebratory atmosphere was interrupted by grief. Yet even in that moment, God reminded us that He is still present, still sovereign, and still our refuge in times of trouble!

As we continue to pray for the Leak family and all who are grieving, may we hold tightly to this truth:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 🛡️
