💗 Tomorrow, UTAB Goes Pink! 💗

Join us Sunday, October 18, for our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Wear your pink as we honor survivors, encourage those facing breast cancer, and lovingly remember those we’ve lost.

Together, we stand in faith, love, and hope. Let’s fill the sanctuary with pink and remind every person touched by breast cancer that they are loved and supported. 🎀

🚨NEW SERMON SERIES STARTS TOMORROW!

What does it really mean to be the Church?

Join us at Union Tabernacle Baptist Church as Pastor Walter Carter III begins a new journey through 1 Corinthians:

Paul reminds us:

“You are God’s building.” — 1 Corinthians 3:9
“No one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11 ⛪️🧱

The church does not ultimately belong to a pastor, one generation, longtime members, or recent arrivals.

The Church belongs to CHRIST.
He is the foundation, and we are His people.

So what kind of church does Christ build through the Gospel?

Gospel • Unity • Holiness • Servant Leadership • Mission • Worship • Gifts • Love • Resurrection Hope • Generosity❤️

Over the coming weeks, we’ll journey through 1 Corinthians and discover what it looks like to be a church that is truly shaped by Jesus.

There’s a place for YOU in what God is building. Come grow with us!

Today was about building, strengthening, and moving forward together! 🙌🏾

We were blessed by an impactful Leadership Conference with Dr. George Hurtt, who challenged and encouraged us from Nehemiah 4 🛠️reminding us that when God gives us a work to do, we must stay focused, stay united, and keep building even in the face of opposition.

Our leaders also rolled up their sleeves for interactive sessions centered around ministry events, community outreach, collaboration, and how we can better serve both our church and our community. The conversations were intentional, the ideas were flowing, and the vision for what’s ahead is exciting!

As we celebrate 99 years of ministry, we are reminded that we are not just honoring what has already been built—we are preparing the next generation to keep building.

“So we rebuilt the wall…for the people had a mind to work.” 🧠Nehemiah 4:6

One church. One vision. Many hands. Still building. Still serving. Still moving forward by faith! 💪🏾🙏🏾

Meet us tomorrow as the celebration continues
