What do Crazy Rich Asians (2018), Jewish American women, and the TikTok ban of 2025 have in common? This May, we celebrate AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month by exploring the controversial history of mahjong, its current cultural phenomenon, and how we as Christians can thoughtfully participate in that discourse.

Join The Holy Trinity Institute for a Cultural Engagement event with an introduction to Mahjong Lesson (Hong Kong style) taught by Michael Wang of 144 Tiles Mahjong Club.

Last night we had the opportunity to join with Chicagoland United in Prayer to pray for peace in our city. We praise God for gathering believers from across Chicago to stand together in prayer, asking for His mercy, peace, and blessing over every neighborhood and community. Grateful to join hands with the Church across our city and trust the Lord for what He will continue to do.
