Please join us this Wednesday at 6:00 pm for a Christmas Eve service of lessons and carols. We will sing some beloved Christmas songs, read some scripture, hear a brief homily from Pastor Ryan, and light candles to sing "Silent Night" together, as we celebrate our Savior's birth two thousand years ago.

You're also welcome to join us before the service, as we gather on the church steps to sing carols to our neighbors as they pass by!

This past Sunday we baptized Kader Atakan, and we baptized her baby daughter Mina as well. Not sure if this is the first mother-daughter dual baptism in Ravenswood Covenant history, but pretty sure that this is the first time in the 138-year history of the church that we've baptized a Turkish immigrant! We rejoice in Kader's coming to faith in Jesus Christ, and we vow as a congregation to do all that we can to help deepen her faith and enfold her with love and community, as well as help teach little Mina about God so that she, too, can one day tell the world that she is a follower of Jesus!

Glenn Kaiser will play a Gospel and Blues concert after church on Sunday, October 26. Please invite your friends! If the weather is warm and dry, we would love to have the concert in the parking lot. If the weather is cold and wet, we will move the concert to the sanctuary.

Come visit our cozy indoor market starting Saturday January 18th, All Saints Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 1757 West Wilson, Chicago from 10-2pm! Our favorite farmer John Patyk will be there with Fresh Eggs, Mushrooms, and Meats! Nena's Sweet Treats will have Macarons and fresh baked Sourdough Bread. Pride Coffee Roasters will he have fresh roasted Coffee. Hilary's Cookies will have Cookies, English Style Scones, Cakes, and Savory Pies.
