Many religious settings present “faith in Jesus” as an exclusive thing, over and against other religious

or non-religious approaches to life, but our experience of Jesus is entirely different. From our perspective, connection with Jesus and spiritual growth shouldn’t make us more closed-off; they should make us more open! We embrace diversity of perspectives and religious backgrounds, we are committed to equity, justice, and anti-racism work, and we are LGBTQ-inclusive. Neighboring Sunday — This Sunday at BLC!

In Illinois alone, over 398,000 people suffer from inadequate housing. This Sunday, instead of our usual service, we participate in a project organized by our kids and youth to equip you to build solidarity with your under-housed neighbors.

In Illinois alone, over 398,000 people suffer from inadequate housing. This Sunday, instead of our usual Sunday service; we participate in a project organized by our BLC youth to help try to build solidarity with under-housed folks in Chicago.
