Prayer

Dearest loving Father in heaven, I humbly receive Your Word today. I choose to open my heart to You and invite You to fill me with Your joy and strength. Thank You for showing me Your goodness and empowering me with Your grace. Thank You for this day to glorify You. Thank You for choosing me and using me for Your purposes. I set my love on You today knowing that You have something new in store for me today. Thank You for Your faithfulness and strength at work in my life today. I choose to consider Your ability over my circumstance. I choose to trust You and give You praise, honor and glory, now and always. Lord, I give You every bit of my life, my past, my present and my future. Thank You for taking every experience and turning it around for my good. I know that with You, nothing is ever wasted. I bless You today and always.

Loving Holy Father, I thank You for all the good things you have done in my life. Thanks You for Your majestic love . Thank you for allowing me to know You personally. I praise you for the gift of Christ’s death on the Cross for me. You are the Holy One and I praise You for Your love. Revive my heart with joy, I pray. Thank You Lord, for Your abiding presence. Today I choose to walk in Your life-giving light. I want to know You better. I need You and want to know You with all my heart and soul. I come today to seek an intimate relationship with You and ask that You will help me. Show me the way, guide me to Yourself. Thank You for guiding me in my walk with You. Give me direction, wisdom, and understanding as I learn to serve You so that You can use me to further the good news of the Gospel.

Abba Father, Creator of everything in heaven and on earth, I pray that today, from your glorious, unlimited resources, empower me with inner strength through Your Spirit. Lord, make me an obedient child and a willing follower. Break my willful nature, and help me to see the wisdom of Your ways. Help us, Lord, to understand more deeply what it means for us to live as your people. May we learn from your Word, from each other, from those with traditional wisdom, and from your indwelling Spirit. Thank you Lord for lavishing Your grace on me. Thank You forgiving all my sin. Thanks You for rescuing me over and over again. Forgive me for forgetting my past. Forgive me for my disrespect and taking You for granted. Today I come and worship You and praise You for Your grace toward me. Through the grace of Jesus Christ, the High Priest, who is interceding for me before you, I pray. Amen

FEBRUARY 16, OUR DAILY BREAD

“Jacob looked up and saw that Esau was coming along with four hundred men. So he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two female servants. He put the servants and their children in front, with Leah and her children behind them, and Rachel and Joseph behind them. But Jacob himself went on ahead of them, and he bowed toward the ground seven times as he approached his brother. But Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, hugged his neck, and kissed him. Then they both wept. When Esau looked up and saw the women and the children, he asked, “Who are these people with you?” Jacob replied, “The children whom God has graciously given your servant.” The female servants came forward with their children and bowed down.
