Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church invites you to join us as we celebrate Rev. Sean & First Lady Linda Ramsey and honor eight incredible years of faithful leadership!

Our theme is “The Year to Stretch”, “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide…” — Isaiah 54:2.

This Sunday, we’re expecting a powerful time of worship, preaching, fellowship, and celebration as we give God glory for what He has done and prepare for what He will do next!

As we prepare for Bethany’s Prayer on the Corner event, we’re inviting YOU to help us create posters that will carry messages of hope, faith, encouragement, and prayer into our community!

Join us Sunday, September 20th, immediately following worship in the Fellowship Hall for a fun and creative poster-making session. 🖌️✨

Whether you’re artistic or can barely draw a stick figure 😂, we want you there! Supplies will be provided by the Evangelism Committee.

Because sometimes the prayer someone needs is the one we’re willing to share. ❤️

🙏🏾 PRAYER ON THE CORNER IS BACK! 🙏🏾

Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church invites you to join us for our Annual Prayer on the Corner on Saturday, October 3rd from 10 AM–1 PM!

Inspired by Matthew 28:16–20: “The Great Commission,” we are taking prayer beyond the walls of the church and into the community. Stop by for prayer, stay for fellowship, or join us as we pray for our neighbors, our families, our city, and one another. ❤️

We'll also have courtesy blood pressure checks, free breast & reproductive cancer screenings, information on Chicago Public Library events, homework and computer help, job-search resources, and more!

There’s just something special about coming together, sharing a meal, laughing, catching up, and simply enjoying the gift of community and connection. 💜

A huge THANK YOU to our Young Adults for hosting our most recent Fellowship Hour and creating such a warm, welcoming, and joyful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy!

From worship to fellowship, we’re grateful for the moments that remind us that church is not just where we gather, it’s where we belong. ❤️

Generations of Grace. One God. One Faith. One Legacy. 🙌🏾

Young Adult Reunion Sunday was a beautiful reminder that worship has no expiration date and God’s grace continues from generation to generation.

From the youngest to the young at heart, we lifted our voices, opened our hearts, and gave God the glory He deserves. There was something powerful about seeing generations worshipping together, honoring where we’ve come from while trusting God for where He’s taking us.

“My Spirit... will not depart from you, and my words... will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants.” — Isaiah 59:21
