URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Monday, September 18th 2017, (1-3) Semi-Tractor trucks will depart in route to the COGIC Super Resource Center in Houston, Texas.
The COGIC Ground Zero Task Force, led by our World Missions Department, will be at the Resource Center prepared to unload the semi-trucks.
The Fifth Illinois-East Jurisdiction's Missions Department, acting on directives from our Regional Missions President - Pastor Harry Beard, will spearhead our Local Task Force that will collect supplies from our Jurisdictional churches to send relief to a drop off site in Chicago, linking up with the Super Resource Center designated by our COGIC World Missions Department.
Our target date for deployment of this effort will be Saturday & Sunday, the weekend of September, 16-17 2017.
Drop off sites, times, and the Chicago Resource Center address are presently being assigned by our COGIC World Missions department, our LOCAL churches have a drop off site currently activated, beginning Sunday, September 3rd from 8:00 a.m. To 3:00 p.m. at Christ Soldiers Outreach Ministries, with additional sites forthcoming.
Please see the attached posting for details on what supplies are needed.

Our Missions Department is working on an effort to minister to our Chicago Police Department (CAPS) and begin dialogue with the community residents to bring unity and understanding to the senseless violence we've been experiencing. It's another way to share Christ! Pictured with me, is Officer Rivera, whom I had the opportunity to set up possible meetings in the Gresham Community where my church, Christ Solders Outreach, services.

Pray that I am able to get them to come share at our 2016 Holy Convocation!

I Just wanted to thank ALL OF YOU who helped us with the FLINT MICHIGAN Water project; with your prayers, donations, assistance & monetary support!
"SPECIAL THANKS" to my Christ Soldiers church family & Assistant Missions President, Miss'y Beverly Hawkins ! You were wonderful!
Below is an inventory of what we were BLESSED to collect and drop off (in three weeks time) as a Jurisdiction on last Wednesday at Redeeming Grace COGIC: now we're heading down to help distribute Monday!

185 cases of water
160 bottles of hand sanitizer
76 bags of baby wipes
16 cans formula
200 can goods
