Christ Bible Church Christ is the MASTER, the Bible is His MESSAGE, the Church is His MEMBERS Who Are We at Christ Bible Church? We believe our words matter.

At Christ Bible Church, we are a people devoted to the Word of God and the transforming power it has in our daily lives. We believe in elevating the Savior not just on Sundays, but in every space we walk in, every conversation we hold, and every decision we make. We lift God above politics, preferences, and personal opinions because He alone is worthy. Whether in a song, sermon, small group, or si

mple conversation, we aim to speak with purpose to build up, encourage, and reflect the grace we’ve received. Our speech is shaped by the Word of God and used to glorify Him and edify others. We are united under one mission: to go and make disciples of all nations. We are not just attendees, we are followers of Jesus, called to be light in a dark world and agents of change for the Kingdom of God. Join us as we exalt the Savior, edify the believer, and evangelize the sinner for His glory and by His grace.

This Sunday's message reminds us of Jesus' powerful promise to His disciples—and to us. When Christ prepared to leave His followers, He didn't abandon them. Instead, He gave them the Holy Spirit, "another of the same kind"—the same presence, guidance, and leadership they experienced with Jesus physically, now dwelling within them.

His voice still guides, teaches, and empowers you today.

In this message, Pastor Steve walks through Jesus’ promise of “another Helper” to reveal why the Holy Spirit was given to believers. As the disciples struggled with the reality of Jesus’ physical departure, Christ assured them they would not be abandoned. The same Savior who taught, corrected, comforted, and led them would continue shepherding His people through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

This message shows that the Christian life was never meant to be lived through self-effort or distant religion. Through the Holy Spirit, believers continue living under Christ’s leadership through communion, obedience, and daily dependence on Him. The Spirit is not merely emotional comfort or occasional experience. He is the continuing presence of Christ within His people, empowering them to follow the Shepherd faithfully in every season of life.

In this message, Pastor Steve continues the series on the Fruit of the Spirit by exploring the difference between biblical joy and temporary happiness. While the world ties joy to comfort, success, and favorable circumstances, Scripture reveals that true joy is rooted in the unchanging presence of God. Even while imprisoned, Paul commands believers to “rejoice in the Lord always,” showing that Christian joy is not dependent on life going well, but on Christ remaining faithful.

Walking through Philippians, Habakkuk, Psalm 16, and John 15, this message reveals that joy is not emotional denial or manufactured positivity; it is Spirit-produced confidence sustained through communion with God.

Ever feel like you're obeying God but the storms keep coming? The disciples were exactly where Jesus told them to be—in the boat, heading to the other side—when the waves started crashing. Here's the truth: obedience doesn't promise an easy life. It promises His presence.

Your storm doesn't mean God has abandoned you. It means He's inviting you closer. The safest place isn't staying in the boat—it's being as near to Christ as possible. Whatever boat you're in today, whatever waves are pushing against you, remember: He's already walking toward you. Will you keep your eyes on Him?

Revisit Sunday's message from Pastor Steve. When life feels uncertain and emotions overwhelm us, remember this: you're not walking alone. Jesus spoke these powerful words to His troubled disciples: "Do not let your heart be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me" (John 14:1).
The same God who planned our redemption through Christ has given us His Spirit.

In this message, Pastor Steve begins a new series on the fruit of the Spirit by focusing on the first and foundational evidence of spiritual transformation: love. Scripture reveals that the fruit of the Spirit is not something believers manufacture through effort or religious performance, but the visible evidence of the Holy Spirit producing the character of Christ within them.

Walking through Galatians 5, 1 John 4, and 1 Corinthians 13, this message challenges common ideas of spirituality by showing that true maturity is not measured merely by gifts, knowledge, or public activity, but by how we love others. Biblical love is not rooted in emotion or convenience, but in the very character of God being formed within His people. As the Spirit works in believers, selfishness is confronted, relationships are transformed, and the love of Christ becomes visible through everyday life.
