Here's the truth: Sometimes we don't need another conference or sermon. We need to surrender our preferences and obey what God has already told us. The gospel doesn't unite cultures—it unites us to the Savior. And at the foot of the cross, all ground is level.

In this message, Pastor Steve continues the study of the Fruit of the Spirit by exploring the biblical meaning of kindness. Far more than simply being nice, kindness is a Spirit-produced reflection of God’s own character. Through Titus 3, we are reminded of who we were before Christ, lost, deceived, and separated from God, and how everything changed when the kindness of God appeared through Jesus Christ. God’s kindness was not passive sympathy, but active mercy that pursued, rescued, and transformed sinners.

This message reveals that the kindness believers show to others is rooted in the kindness they have first received from God. As we remember the grace, mercy, and forgiveness extended to us through Christ, the Holy Spirit produces within us a heart that moves toward others with compassion, patience, and grace. Because biblical kindness is not weakness or compromise, it is the visible evidence of a life that has been changed by the kindness of God.

What traditions or preferences are keeping you from God's mission? In Acts 10, Peter discovered that his biggest obstacle wasn't the people God wanted to reach—it was his own assumptions.

God had to show Peter that the gospel isn't limited by our categories, cultures, or comfort zones. Before Peter even finished preaching, the Holy Spirit fell on Cornelius and his household, proving that salvation is for ALL people. The same grace, the same Spirit, the same Christ.
