When Maria walked through our food pantry doors, she carried more than grocery bags, she was carrying hope back to her family. "I haven't seen my kids this excited about dinner in months," she told us.

Over 1,200 neighbors visit Our Daily Bread monthly. But we aren't just filling shelves; we are filling dinner tables with laughter and dignity.

Help us start the day strong! Our goal is to raise $60,000 today to ensure no Austin family has to choose between rent and dinner.

Weโ€™re honored to be selected as a 2025 Nourish Our Community grant recipient by the Conagra Brands Foundation!

This investment helps us link urgent hunger relief with long-term food justice whereby youth learn hydroponic farming, culinary skills, and environmental stewardship, producing fresh food for distribution onsite at Our Daily Food Pantry.

Today, we honor a legacy of love, faith, and service.

On what would have been their 55th wedding anniversary, we pause to celebrate Dr. Glenn and Lonni Kehreinโ€”our beloved founders and spiritual pillars of Circle Urban Ministries.

Married in 1970, Glenn and Lonni didnโ€™t just commit their lives to one anotherโ€”they committed their hearts to a community in need. Together, they planted seeds of justice, hope, and reconciliation in Austin that continue to bear fruit today.

Though Glenn is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in every child we serve, every life transformed, and every act of compassion offered in Christโ€™s name. Lonni continues to be a source of wisdom and grace for all of us.

We thank God for their love, their example, and their unwavering obedience to a calling bigger than themselves.

Happy Anniversary, Glenn and Lonni. Your legacy is eternal.

Today is Giving Tuesday, a day to make a real impact in the lives of families in our community. At Circle Urban Ministries, weโ€™re working on transformative projects like Project 843, which will provide a discounted home to help a family build generational wealth, and Project 130, where weโ€™re renovating a 10-unit building to create more housing opportunities.

Our goal is to raise $250,000 to support initiatives like these, and with $120,000 already committed, weโ€™re well on our way. Every gift helps us create safe and thriving neighborhoods where families can grow and succeed.
