Dear Friends in Christ:

Our sister in Christ, long-time active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Chicago, Ina Nathan, has been called into the nearer presence of her Lord. Ina was also very involved in Gloria Dei Lutheran School.

After Ina moved to Lemont in 2006, she was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church until the time of her death.

Her Christian Funeral Service will be held in Lemont at Markiewicz Funeral Home. Please see the obituary and information below.

Ina Mae Nathan July 27, 1935 March 5, 2026 Devoted wife of the late Joseph Nathan for 37 years. Loving mother of Susan Nathan-Butt Paul. Ina was an active member of Gloria Dei Evangelical Lutheran Church LCMS in Chicago for over 40 years. She served as Room Mother for Susans

To those who follow our Sunday morning Gloria Dei Chicago Divine Service Livestream: We regret that the signal went out after fourteen minutes on March 1, and that our efforts to restore it were unsuccessful.

We provide this for those who cannot make it in person to our Service of Word and Sacrament; but occasionally, technical problems cause the streaming to be interrupted.
