Our culture is consumer-driven. We're often self-centered.

In church, some of you might be asking yourself, "What does this have to do with me?"

The thing is, the real issue could be you're always asking that question.

Instead of just focusing on yourself, consider what God might want to share with you.

Here are some better questions to ask:

What does God want to say to me? What does God want to do in me through this experience, story, or conversation?

Let's move away from a me-centered mindset and fix our eyes on Jesus.
