ship at 10am on the first, third, fourth and fifth Sundays at 3100 W Wilson Ave. On the second Sunday of the month you'll find us at 11am in dementia-friendly worship at Wesley Place, 1415 W Foster Ave. On Tuesdays from 11am - 1pm, Pastor Matthew Krings has office hours in the community at Khepri Cafe, 4650 N Kedzie.

"I am excited for the opportunity to be in ministry with you all and can’t wait to join you in your mission to create an authentic, compassionate, and inclusive community. I’m looking forward to meeting the congregation of Renewed Hope and hearing your stories."

Pastor Jonah Boutell brings excitement and energy to his appointment at Renewed Hope. He believes that God’s grace has met us all at such a time as this to witness God doing new things in our hearts, the church, and our neighborhood.

He comes to Renewed Hope UMC from Prince of Peace UMC in Elk Grove Village where he has served the past three years. He attended Kentucky Wesleyan College and received a BA in Religion and Music (trumpet). In 2023, he completed his MDiv at Boston University where he met his wife, Sarah Champlin Boutell, the Youth Minister of Kenilworth Union Church and a commissioned provisional Deacon.

Jonah was commissioned as a provisional Elder at Annual Conference in June 2024.
