Thank You to Joe & Salvatore Vella from the Maria SS. Del Lume Society for driving them from Milwaukee. Maria SS. Lauretana & Maria SS. Del Lume are two groups from different towns, they share the same devotion to the Blessed Mother. Viva Maria!!!

Please join us on Monday, July 6, for a special Mass celebrating the enduring bond between two beloved Sicilian communities. We are honored to welcome visiting priests and the President of the Maria SS. del Lume Committee from Porticello, Sicily.

The towns of Altavilla Milicia, home of Maria SS. Lauretana, and Porticello, home of Maria SS. del Lume, have shared a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother for centuries. That sacred bond crossed the Atlantic with our ancestors and has continued for more than 100 years through the Italian communities of Chicago and Milwaukee.

Come celebrate our shared faith, heritage, and the beautiful traditions that continue to unite us across generations and across the sea. 🇮🇹🙏
