Have a wonderful Labor Day! Let us pray for the rights of workers and allow our actions follow that prayer so that all may enjoy the dignity of work!

E-Bulletin - September 5, 2026

Dear Friend,

We hope that you have a happy Labor Day Weekend! More than just a three-day weekend to end summer, this weekend holiday draws us closer to the roots of Catholic Social Teaching which praises the dignity of work.

The Church reminds us that work isn't just about the need to make a living but is the way we share in God's ongoing work of creation. Because the economy exists to serve people, and not the other way around, every person deserves basic respect in their work place, fair wages, and safe conditions. As we rest this weekend, let us pray for those seeking employment, honor the daily contributions of all workers, and recommit ourselves to building a society that always upholds the God-given dignity of the human person.

And yes, in observance of Labor Day, the parish office will be closed on Monday, September 7.

Key notifications for the week ahead at Saint Andrew Parish are listed below.

E-Bulletin - August 29, 2026

Dear Friend,

We've made it through one of the biggest transitions of the year. We're back in school! With students in every age group now getting back into the rhythm of things, we want to let them know that God goes with them in their daily studies.

Which is why we invite all students whether in the early years, elementary years, high school years, or even college to join us for the Blessing of the Backpacks which will take place at the 9:00am Mass tomorrow, Sunday, August 30, 2026 . They can come with backpacks, lunchboxes, or even just themselves as the blessing is not only for their material goods, but also for their wellbeing for the year ahead.

The return to school isn't the only thing happening as we get back into the swing of things. Key notifications for the week ahead at Saint Andrew Parish are listed below.
