“The Imperative of Transformation”
📖 Scripture Focus: John 15:1–8

Jesus declares in John 15:5:
“I am the vine, ye are the branches… for without me ye can do nothing.”
Many believers look to Romans 12:2 when discussing transformation, but Jesus revealed the foundation of transformation long before Paul expanded upon it. Romans 12 gives us the blueprint for transformation, but John 15 reveals the power source that makes transformation possible.

In this life-changing message, Pastor Goodwin will explore:
🍇 The necessity of remaining connected to Christ
🍇 Why transformation is impossible apart from Him
🍇 The difference between merely existing and bearing fruit
🍇 God’s desire for believers to produce much fruit for His glory
🍇 Why giving God the bare minimum falls short of His purpose for our lives

Jesus makes it clear that the Father’s desire is not simply that we survive spiritually, but that we thrive spiritually. As we abide in Christ, He cultivates, prunes, strengthens, and transforms us so that our lives become a testimony of His power and grace.

Today, we take a moment to celebrate and express our gratitude to God for the life and leadership of our beloved Pastor, Rev. Dr. J. Rayford Goodwin.

For many years, Pastor Goodwin has dedicated himself to preaching the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, shepherding His people, and making a profound impact on countless lives through his unwavering commitment to Christ and the Church. His steadfast dedication to biblical truth, Christian discipleship, and spiritual growth continues to inspire and uplift everyone who has had the privilege of sitting under his ministry.

As we commemorate this special day, we pray for God’s abundant blessings upon him:
📖 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
– Numbers 6:24-26

🌿 Good Morning, Worshippers! 🌿
“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” — Psalm 122:1

Today is the day that the Lord has made, and we are filled with joy as we gather in His presence! There’s something truly powerful about worshiping God alongside fellow believers, lifting our voices in praise, hearing His Word, and drawing strength from being in His house.

As the Psalmist says:
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” — Psalm 100:4
