We are Black. We were created this way by the Lord, and born with this identity by our black and African forebears. We appreciate our blackness. We willingly and joyfully choose to follow Jesus Christ who is "the light of the world." Through Him we are born into t
he family of God. This new birth moves us to accept the Lord's definition of us His children and disciples when He says, "You are the light of the world." We are a Black Light. We are naturally accepting and holistically integrating the essence of our blackness and Christianness. We worship God and celebrate our Christ-centered black identity. We are a Black Light Fellowship. We believe in Christ-centered black identity, unity, and community. We purpose to belong to one another, and to shine our black light together as a group in Christ. We are very visible as a Black Light Fellowship. Our race, relationship with Christ, and spiritual expressions make our presence prominent, especially in a white society. We are unique and useful as a Black Light Fellowship. Our calling is to expose and reveal life in a novel way, in a way that is not ordinarily seen by others. We are determined to be an illustrious Black Light Fellowship. Our challenge is to model our Christ-centered blackness before others in such a way that they will give God our Father the praise, and come to trust the Lord Jesus Christ as the source of their life and light.
