Starting this week, we are moving to the Narrative Lectionary!

Check out this word game!

Each Wednesday, a new game appears at this link: https://nl-weekly-word-game-fb.pages.dev/ and players are invited to explore the key words of the primary reading for the Sunday.

After solving the puzzle, players are rewarded with a word that will fill in a 42-word puzzle (one for each week until Pentecost) that will offer a special blessing to those who play through the year.

To play, drag your finger or cursor along the letters that form words from the text. Use a HINT if you don't know the text by heart.

We're using this game to prime the pumps for Sunday morning. Free to use.

A new word search unlocks every Wednesday morning, built from the coming Sunday's reading. Past weeks stay open to replay.

Our first community walk will be at 10 am on Saturday, September 5!

This year, we're virtually walking, running, and rolling 25,000 miles together in solidarity with immigrant children and families.

Why? Because children's journeys should lead to safety, not detention.

That's why Waymakers across the country (and around the world!) are coming together to log miles while spreading awareness, raising support, and amplifying the stories of separated immigrant families.

25,000 miles. One shared purpose. Every child deserves freedom.
Starting September 1st, join thousands of people across the globe as we virtually walk, run, and roll 25,000 miles in solidarity with immigrant children and families.

Throughout the entire month of September, track your miles at any time, from anywhere in your own community, while raising support and amplifying the stories of separated immigrant families.

Boost your impact. This year, we're asking every Waymaker to raise $198 in solidarity with immigrant children and families. Why $198? Because by early 2026, immigrant children were spending an average of 198 days in detention - longer than a U.S. school year - not in classrooms, but in detention. And that number continues to rise. Every dollar moves us closer to a future where every child's journey is safe and welcoming.

Lace up & spread the word. Get ready to walk, run, or roll, beginning September 1st, and bring others along with you throughout the entire month of September! Share news of your participation in this year’s Challenge using on social media to inspire your community and help us reach our 25,000 mile goal.
Every mile we walk honors a journey. Every step brings us closer to change.
