Feed The Hungry has new leaders! Please welcome Kaylie and Nisrin as new leads of FTH. Kaylie is an artist from New York and Nisrin as an account manager from Milwaukee. Shahbaz (that’s me!) is taking a break after almost 5 years 😊 With Kaylie and Nisrin taking over, and with help from regular volunteers, this event will rise to new heights.

Another great volunteer event. A hundred lunches made by a few new friends and many regular ones. Today was also a momentous day - Shahbaz retired after leading Feed The Hungry for almost 5 years and Kaylee and Nisrin took over as new leads. See next post for more.

☕ Introducing the DIC Community Café ☕

Every Friday, many of us stay after Jummah talking on the sidewalks, the lobby or doors of the masjid. We wanted to create a space that brings those conversations indoors — a welcoming place to sit, connect, and build community together.

For the month of June, join us one hour before and one hour after Jummah at the DIC Community Café — a space for coffee, conversation, and connection.

🕐 Open:
• 1 hour before Jummah
• 1 hour after Jummah
📍 1st Floor

Whether you come to catch up with friends, meet someone new, or simply enjoy a warm drink and good company, everyone is welcome.

More than coffee — a place to connect, a place to belong.
