Thank you so much for the privilege of teaching the youth during the second session of the Joint Confirmation Class of St. John’s UMC and Edison Park UMC. It was truly a joy and blessing to journey with these young people in faith and learning.
I am deeply grateful to Rev. Hazel Salatan for thoughtfully crafting the curriculum for this study — a meaningful guide not only for the class, but also for my own two children who are part of this journey.
My heartfelt thanks as well to Edison Park UMC for graciously serving as the host church for this second session through yours truly.
We also missed the other youth who were unable to attend because of their summer jobs. You were remembered and missed, and we look forward to having everyone together again in the next sessions.
And of course, special thanks to Aiehn Deosjua Vasquez for lovingly preparing the meals for our early dinner fellowship right after the lesson. Your generosity and care added warmth and joy to our gathering.
