WORDS do not come easy at such a time as this. The outpouring of many wonderful memories, sentiments and WORDS from those of you who have been touched in some way by our ministry have been uplifting and much appreciated!
However, the final WORD always comes from our great God as witnessed by the beautiful reminder He planted in the sky above our school on June 4, 2025 after our closing celebration! We go forward now, trusting in God's plan and knowing His Promises are real!

THIS SUNDAY, APRIL 27 AT 9:30 OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN WILL HELP US CELEBRATE WITH EASTER JOY THE GIFT OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT OUR SAVIOUR OVER THE LAST 87 YEARS.

IT WILL BE A FAMILY FRIENDLY SERVICE AND WE HOPE TO HAVE SOME FORMER STAFF, FAMILIES, STUDENTS AND FRIENDS JOIN US! PLEASE INVITE A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER!

THE SERVICE WILL BE AT 9:30 FOLLOWED BY A FELLOWSHIP HOUR WITH TASTY TREATS.

Dear Friends of Our Saviour,

After much prayerful consideration, the decision has been made to close our Preschool & Kindergarten program at the end of this school year. We have been abundantly blessed by the support and wonderful memories from all of our families and friends over the past 87 years. For this we are truly grateful! We ask now for your continued prayers as Our Saviour Church explores the path ahead, led by our Almighty and all-knowing God.

It is with a heavy heart that I must share that our brother in Christ - Lt James Hampe - was called suddenly to his heavenly home this past Wednesday.
Jim, was an alumni of our school and has been a faithful supporter and servant of our Christian Education ministry at Our Saviour ever since. Jim never hesitated to help in whatever capacity was needed. Perhaps one of his favorite activities was to use his role as a first responder in the Chicago Fire Department to share fire safety with the children. This pictures is from his visit this year during fire safety month.

We thank God for the blessing he has been to our staff, our children and our ministry and ask that you keep his family in your prayers as they move forward! I will share arrangements as they are finalized.
And as Jim would remind us - To God be the Glory!
