Students will hear about how God facilitated the leadership of the Israelites in their transition from Moses to Joshua at the critical time of moving into the Promised Land.

LIFE AIM:
Students will hold on to God’s promise to be with them in whatever transitions life brings. Students will know that by doing their part of remaining in the Word, being a faithful leader or follower, and cultivating a relationship with God, who encourages and imparts strength, they will meet their goals.

Students will recognize that Lydia, a businesswoman, accepted Jesus Christ, showing her commitment through the baptism of her entire household. By practicing radical hospitality, Lydia provided a place for the first church in Europe to take root.

LIFE AIM:
Students will understand that hospitality is a two-way street, to be offered and received graciously with love and respect. Students will also learn that God’s Word is a seed planted and nurtured by those who love Him, but God gives the increase.
