Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Parish We are a Roman Catholic Church, founded by the Croatian immigrants of South Chicago in 1913. Rev. Fr. Stephen Bedeniković, O.F.M.

Today we are a parish family not only of Croatians but a diverse community united through faith in Jesus Christ.

We still have a few tags hanging on the bulletin board in the vestibule of the church.

At the entrance of the Church you will see the FESTIVAL TREE filled with Festival prizes gift tags. Each tag is numbered with a prize we need for our Festival. Please help by taking one or more tags and donating these prizes that are necessary for our Festival. After you pick a tag please provide your name and phone number or email next to the corresponding Tag Number on the sheet under the tree. Please return the prizes to the rectory as soon as you can. You can also purchase needed prizes from our amazon list and have them sent to us directly. Just follow the link. Thank you for your generous support of Sacred Heart Parish.

This evening, we had a farewell party in our parish hall for Deacons Jakov Nikolić and Danijel Sentić. Our faithful parishioners roasted lamb and prepared other food and deserts for everyone to enjoy. Our Croatian school, Kolo, and Tamburica children sang a few songs as well. We wish our Deacons well as they go back to Croatia for their ordination to the priesthood.
