CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Dear Parishioners and Friends, Sacred Heart Parish is initiating a Capital Campaign to fix the leaks in our Church roof and the windows. The leaks are damaging the ceiling and the walls. We have consulted various roofing companies and the building maintenance consultants from the Archdiocese. We have decided to accept the proposal submitted by A.B. Edward Enterprises, Inc. to repair the leaks. They would install new kick out flashing behind the first course of the brick and apply all the necessary caulking. They will remove the deteriorated sealant from the windows and install new exterior sealant around the perimeter of designated windows. The proposed project is $41,275.00. We are asking all of our parishioners and friends to please consider contributing to the campaign so that we can finish this project and prevent further deterioration of the Church. In your mailing you will find a commitment card and a return envelope, or you may mail your donation, drop it off at the rectory or put it in the collection basket on Sunday. You can also find the commitment cards and envelopes at the entrance of the Church. You can also click the link to donate electronically.

Dragi Župljani i prijatelji, župa Srca Isusova pokreće kampanju prikupljanja sredstava za pop- ravak krova naše crkve koji prokišnjava i prozora. Prokišnjavanje oštećuju strop i zidove. Odlučili smo prihvatiti prijedlog tvrtke A.B. Edward Enterprises, Inc. za popravak krova. Oni će postaviti novu zaštitnu letvu iza prvog reda cigle i nanijeti potrebnu brtvu.
