🔥 UNITED IN PRAYER. UNITED IN PURPOSE. 🔥

While the moment may have passed, the impact remains.

On Pentecost Sunday, the saints of New Mission Temple COGIC joined hands with Hands Across Chicago and believers across our city for a powerful Prayer Walk, taking our faith beyond the four walls and into the streets.

We prayed for our families.
We prayed for our communities.
We prayed for our city.
We prayed for revival.

Every step was a declaration that Chicago belongs to God. Every prayer was a seed of hope, healing, and transformation. As we walked together, we were reminded that when God's people unite in prayer, strongholds are broken, hearts are changed, and communities are strengthened.

The Day of Pentecost reminds us that the Church was never meant to stay inside—it was empowered to go out. And that's exactly what we did.

Though this post may be late, the prayers are still working, the Spirit is still moving, and God is still answering.

"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray..." — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Thank you to everyone who participated and stood in the gap for our city. The work continues, and so does the prayer.
