Join us THIS Sunday, June 7th at 12:00pm for Spring Awakening, a hands-on community festival hosted by the Building, Infrastructure, and Grounds (BIG) Committee. Together, we’ll learn practical building knowledge and celebrate the collective care that keeps 2U thriving.

No experience needed. Whether you’re handy with tools or simply curious about how things work behind the scenes, there’s a place for you!

This isn’t just a workday. It’s a chance to share knowledge, build confidence, strengthen community, and care for the home we all share. All are welcome. Come ready to learn, lend a hand, and help 2U bloom.

🏳️‍🌈 Did you know our friends at put on a monthly LGBTQIA+ Variety Show called Q***r Sacred Space Salon!?

In honor of , on Monday, June 8th at 7pm (doors open at 6:45pm), they're holding an All-Star, All-Drag Fundraiser for Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (). This month, QSSS is collaborating with the Haus of Mascara to bring you an incredible evening of Drag Performances with 50% of the donations taken at the door being given to ICIRR.

Join co-host and co-curator Ginger Ambrosia as she helps us kick off Pride with some sickening performers including Pansy, Danika B Mascara, Mx. Jagger, Layla Love, and Kae Otic!

💸 Part of the culture of being in the audience of a drag show is tipping the performers. Because Drag is what.....? EXPENSIVE. And we believe in paying q***r artists! So maybe bring some extra cash with you to make it rain on your favorite performer or number.

🐭 Mark Mouse here reminding you to join us for our Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 14th, immediately following the service! 🐭

We’ll vote on our annual budget, elect new board members, and celebrate individuals whose contributions enrich our church community. This is an important moment in the life of our congregation, and a quorum is required for votes to be valid, so your attendance matters. Please mark your calendar and plan to participate. While everyone is welcome to attend, only members are eligible to vote.

🏳️‍🌈 You could be here! 🏳️‍🌈

We need volunteers for this year's Pride Fest, on June 20th and 21st! Last year was 2U's first year having a table at Pride Fest (on North Halsted), and it was a huge success! We had a lot of fun spreading the word about how friendly and welcoming of a church 2U is, added people to our newsletter, and got new visitors and newsletter subscribers!

🤠 Join us for our annual Movie with the Minister outing on Saturday, June 20th to see Toy Story 5. 🚀

This will also be our last movie viewing with Rev. Jason, making this year’s gathering extra special. We’ll gather for a late afternoon showing (approximately 2:00–4:00 PM start time) at Regal City North. Come along for an afternoon of nostalgia, heart, and animated adventure. You can check out the trailer on YouTube.
