New Board Member Announcement
We are excited to welcome Angie Neuman to DVO's Board of Directors.
Here's a message from Angie:
I am honored to join the Board of Directors of Domestic Violence Outreach (DVO) and to have the opportunity to learn alongside Father Chuck Dahm about their vital and inspiring work.
What especially speaks to me about DVO’s mission is the commitment to bringing conversations about domestic violence into places where they have too often been absent — including churches, schools, and community organizations. I’m deeply inspired by DVO’s focus on prevention and education, particularly through programs like HeaRT, which helps young people build healthy relationship skills before harmful patterns take hold.
I’ve spent over forty years in the banking industry, and this month marks my twenty-fourth year with US Bank. My journey began right out of high school as a teller, and throughout the years I’ve held roles in service, audit, lending, branch management, and now Wealth Management, where I help clients plan and prepare for the future. My career has always been shaped by a desire to keep learning and to support others in meaningful ways.
Community engagement has also been an important part of my life. Over the years, I’ve been involved with Rotary, facilitated financial literacy training at Benedictine University, and volunteered with organizations including Loaves & Fishes Pantry and DuPage Pads. Through employer-sponsored initiatives, I’ve also supported Northern Illinois Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and Junior Achievement.
On a personal note, I’ve been married to my very patient husband Curt for thirty-three years.
I look forward to partnering with the dedicated volunteers, educators, parish leaders, and advocates working to raise awareness, support survivors, strengthen prevention efforts, and help build healthier and safer communities for future generations.
Please give a warm welcome to Angie Neuman! We are thankful you are here! 💜
