Sundays on the Boulevard: Back to School Lit Fest is moving to Ogden Avenue! We are thrilled to be joining forces with the annual classic car & bike show, 🔥The Firehouse Community Arts Center🔥| Nonprofit Organization Block Party for Peace, LC HC blood drive, live music, and Young Doctors Club for the Lawndale Route 66 Festival!
This year is the Route 66 centennial, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with this epic event!
Our part of the festival will be from Central Park Ave (Pink Line stop) to Lawndale Ave., and will feature free school supplies, a kids bike raffle (child must be present), plus a stage with karaoke, dancing, and music!
Other features will be a zip line, horseback riding, a food court, art making, vendors, free books, games, and much more!
The Lit Fest runs from 1:00-4:00 but there will be events all afternoon along the avenue.
