A LIFE OF LEARNING ||

Be1 desires to be an ecumenically-minded initiative where Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox Christians can learn to be one as Christ and the Father are one. Each tradition is beautiful and is mankind’s best attempt to faithfully follow our Lord Jesus Christ.

But first we must enter a season of learning. So in order to learn, we must experience the need for the other. Through the month of October Be1 will be attending various Catholic services and would invite you to join us! Last week were welcomed by the Holy Name Cathedral (what a wonderful Parrish!). This week we will be attending the 10am service at:

Be1's July gathering was the first time some children joined us! When it came time to split into different groups to pray over the church and Chicago Tori asked these girls, "If you could pray for anything, what would you prayer for?"
One of the beautiful children responded, "That God would end the violence in Chicago."
Tori added, "Then ask Him."
With warm breath the child asked and expected, "God, please take the violence away. Thank you."

So thankful for our fellow lovers of Jesus at House of A Prayer in Uptown. They have been faithfully crying out for God to bring unity to Chicago for years. And they live out their cry by being a family who cares for the homeless in order to guide them to restoration, rehabilitation, and salvation. Thank you House of Prayer for letting us join your family today!
