We are an Episcopal parish of diverse people united in a common journey of faith. We live out our faith in traditional Anglo-Catholic liturgy coupled with a progressive sense of what it means to seek Christ earnestly in a 21st century world, serving our Lord inside and outside these gothic stone walls. A while back, the old statue of St. Francis was removed as it was in bad shape. A new statue has been installed and will be blessed on St. Francis Day - October 4. Many thanks to Jerry for donating the statue, and to Rick, Dennis, Bill, Matt, Gerardo, and Tim for installing it so beautifully.

Thank you, Atonement, for your generous donations of backpacks and school supplies. Fr. Charles blessed them this morning, and along with Jerad and Liz, took them to Swift Elementary School where they were gratefully received. Deo gratias!

For three years the Church of the Atonement has extended our spirit of hospitality out onto Kenmore Ave. Beyond the celebration, this event is a crucial fundraiser to support local agencies facing funding cutbacks including Care for Real, Care for Friends, and Swift Elementary School. Join us on Sat., June 13 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for The Gift of Preparation, an engaging and informative program designed to help you think ahead. Our knowledgeable speakers will cover topics that matter at every stage of life, including: creating a will and naming a medical power of attorney; planning for retirement; exploring future living and care options; and more practical guidance for peace of mind. Lunch will be provided.

Our Pride Month Fundraiser will take place on Sat., June 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. There's no formal program: just great company and conversation on a summer afternoon.
We’ll provide snacks, sweets, and pizza. There will be a cash bar with Happy Hour prices for beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages—and a special Pride-themed cocktail.

Tickets are $30 per person, available through the Donate page of the Church of the Atonement website.
