We welcome all to join us on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Saint Odisho Church as we celebrate Divine Liturgies in commemoration of the late Mar Thoma Darmo (ܡܪܝ ܬܐܘܡܐ ܕܪܡܘ). Divine Liturgy will begin at 9:00am.

𝐌𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨
The late Mar Thoma Darmo made many contributions in service of the Church of the East and its beloved faithful. During his tenure as Archbishop of India, Mar Thoma Darmo expanded the Church of the East by building several churches throughout his archdiocese, as well as hospitals, elderly care facilities, an orphanage, and a theological seminary for aspiring clergy. Most notably, Mar Thoma Darmo accomplished the first-ever printing of the 'Khudra Volumes'—essential books of prayer used throughout the year by the Churches of the East.

“Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.” (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13)
