Englewood Rust UMC has merged with Kelly Woodlawn UMC. Freedom UMC has joined the two Churches to form House of Praise UMC. Our first Sunday Worship Service will be on Sunday, July 7th beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Pastor is Reverend Innis L. Miller III.

My seventh year of the journey at Englewood-Rust UMC is ending, and as I reflect on this chapter of my life, I am filled with gratitude and a deep sense of growth.
When I first arrived at Englewood-Rust UMC, I was excited and trepidation. I was unfamiliar with the community and the congregation, but God had called me to serve in this place. Little did I know that the coming years would be filled with moments of joy, transformation, and deepening faith. The community of Englewood-Rust UMC has indeed become a family to me.
As I look back on these seven years, I am in awe of the growth I have experienced. My relationship with God has deepened, my understanding of ministry has expanded, and my capacity to love and serve has grown exponentially. Englewood-Rust UMC has provided me with countless learning opportunities and the freedom to explore my calling; I am eternally grateful for that.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the outstanding members of Englewood-Rust UMC. Thank you for journeying with me for your prayers, support, and encouragement. Together, we have made it through this chapter with the grace of God. Your presence has made an indelible impact on my life, and I will always carry your love and lessons with me.

Merry Christmas to all who are connected to Englewood-Rust United Methodist Church. It is a joy for me to acknowledge house churches in Englewood-Rust UMC. The house churches shared different ministries but put every ministry and hard work together as the body of Christ. Jesus Gets Us House Churches brought joy to the children's faces by packing toys for them. Mercy Angels House Church brought spirit-filled worship at the senior home and cooked a wonderful homemade meal for the community and the church members. Followers of Christ House Church adopted a local family and looked after the family for this Christmas season. Witnessing these house churches who support and encourage each other was a true blessing this year. Thank you for all your hard work, Englewood-Rust house churches. Your leadership demonstrated true discipleship.

The message about Restore Your Joy (Nehemiah 8:10) from the woman of faith, Ms. Kim Rhode. Joy is a choice, and Jesus is the center of my joy. God wants to restore our joy and the joy of the Lord is my strength...Thanks for the powerful messages.
